To James Hanley, Simpson seems rather silly talking about a brand that started out by her being blonde bubblehead and hopefully she's more than just a label now. Pop stars often go broke when they don't have backup career waiting and its easy to outlive the millions they've made once their fame is over. Scores of actors known for TV went behind the cameras and made more directing/producing than they did in front of them....

While watching Jessica with Hoda, I kept saying something seems off with her somewhat slurred speech,seemingly delayed reactions. I watched further to see what she would talk about and hadn't any idea she was a self proclaimed recovering alcoholic. SHE'D had a drink or two before that interview. Trust me, I've dealt with that monster.

A secret of celebrity brands that Simpson and others won't tell you is that they rarely do anything but place their name on a product for royalties. Miley Ray Cyrus became rich because of Hannah Montana merchandising not twerking and popping her tongue out more times than a bull frog. Simpson's stories about her ex is dangerous, what might sound empowering soon sounds parasitic and being a corporation instead of a couple isn't a spotlight she shouldn't want. An ex knows stories you don't want to be retold, and if they served as a stepping stone to what you became it might be seen as debt you should pay back.
