Jessie J is underrated imo she is one of the better live singers around atm.

The whole story about her heart and her doctor not recommending her doing this performance really adds another level to this!

Jessie, is one of the most underrated singers in the world. She has techniques that she manages with super ease, solfeggio, passages, power, delicacy, while other professionals would have serious difficulty in keeping up with how she sings, she has a diaphragm that works perfectly, in this Chinese festival, she didn't have to participate due to health problems, the had been advised against taking part, while she tenaciously wanted to risk it And a lot too, But luckily everything went well and she also gave absurd performances in other songs but with this song she surpassed herself, I can allow myself to say that Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Lara Fabian, who for me are the absolute sacred monsters in the world, and I think now Jessie for me could also be part of this list

Hi. Jessie wasn't supposed to be there but she went against doctors orders. She flew from England and Japan. She has a heart condition that acted up. She was supposed to sing it on the anniversary it came out. When she said my heart will go on she meant her heart will go on. She was trying not to pass out and that is why her hand was shaking.P.S she won. Dimash was on this show 2017. She just had a medical problem last month I think.

I love this performance, she has a heart condition, which is why she chose this song. She also was advised to not fly to china to so this performance but she didn't want to let anyone down, she was trying to not faint this entire time, she was so sick.

I still think her performance of Purple Rain on this same show is the best live performance I have ever seen. She is so talented

Hello Katriinka ! Jessie J is one of those magnificent individuals , with lots of talent and good vocal range but for some reason unknown to me she didn't make it in USA , then she went to Asia and like a phoenix she came up from her ashes even stronger than before . I love her voice and even more i love her personality ! There is some similarity between the two of you from afar , but as someone gets closer there are some differences my eyes caught ! Anyway in the specific song she did a wonderful job , she gave it her personal spice and color with her voice !

I tried to give you a link to some backstage footage (twice) of Jessie J cooking for KZ etc., but it went to spam. Anyway, there are two other performers besides KZ worth checking out on Singer 2018. One is Hua Chenyu, who had many good performances that year, and finished 2nd behind Jessie J. Most people start with his performance of "Nunchucks", because of the energy and versatility. There is a helpful channel called Hua Chenyu English Subs. Another unique performance is "Heaven" by Tengri from Inner Mongolia (the guy with the bald head in the backstage shots). If you Google "Heaven" under the name Tengger, you will find a video with Eng. subs.(6:17). It starts off with some other singers doing Mongolian throat singing, and polyphonic overtone singing.
