I just wanted to come back and say, I am no longer suicidal/ deeply depressed. I still struggle, but I made it through. For those who are still going through it, you CAN get better. I swear. I’m a 29 year ago guy from Hong Kong, and right now I’m on a bus alone in a foreign country,listening to this song, crying by myself. I have been wearing a wig for five years because of my balding and last night it was kinda broken. I didn’t bring a hat with me unfortunately. It’s been so long since I go out with my real hair showing to the public. At first, I was so frustrated and losing my mind because of this. I couldn’t even breathe when I looked at the hotel mirror. But then I told myself I couldn’t let it defeat me, there’s still a long way for me to go. The next day I still wore the broken wig but everybody would instantly notice I’m wearing one when they look at me. I felt vulnerable, insecure, and yet I also felt relieved. It was when I start letting the facade go away that I could finally feel like myself. And then I thought of this song, came here, listening to it, and it is the first time the lyrics hit so deep, every word, every line of this song goes straight into my heart. And I just wanna say thank you Jessie for putting this song out. It enlightened me 10 years ago, and it gives me strength and comfort I needed today.

This song makes me sad because all I can think about is how many years I spent not being okay with myself. The more I meet new people the more I realize that we are all the same. It is very rare to come across someone who is 100% happy with themselves and their lives. Love yourselves guys... Be that rare person. I am 26 and still have to convince myself I am okay...... I look straight into her eyes, like she was right in front of me, speaking. ...it's like I can't control myself anymore.... I start to shiver. My whole body shakes and my eyes get wet and I just stare at her eyes. Then I start to cry..... ...this song just speakes to me. It saves me, every single time, in a way that I can't explain.
