its interesting to think about how she was changed by the show, it changed her life. that place, that apron and those shoes actually changed her, and that is probably so emotional for her among the fact that she had to leave.
@@daenitarthtag6409 i.... this comment is from two years ago and u decided to be a jerk on it. I've done musical theatre all of my life, and not only does it never get old, the experience always changes you. take a chill pill jesus christ
@@daenitarthtag6409 you know…you could have responded with “She actually chose to leave and was amazing and successful before this”. In short, stop being a troll and treat others with kindness.
Amazing as always. Wish I had the chance to see her live 😢 this is super emotional but I can’t help but laugh a little when she sings the last “but she used to be mine” because it sounds like she sneezed. But I mean to be able to sing this well while crying?!? Like how??
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BRING HER BACK FOR A REVIVAL! Jessie Mueller captures the essence of Jenna better than anyone in my opinion. I saw Chelsea Halfpenny on tour and was blown away by Sho as Jenna but Jessie captured the abused part of Jenna. The emotional detachment, the lack of personality she showed in the role until she meets Dr P, and then the shift and warmth she brings towards the end of the show. She was the perfect fit to launch this show and had she returned, I truly believe the show would have lasted longer!
tell me you've never been in a stage production without telling me you've never been in a stage production lol. letting go of a show is heartbreaking. for how emotional this song is, jessie sounds absolutely phenomenal. to me personally, the crying adds to it here and she did a wonderful job restraining her emotions enough to actually push through and hit those notes.
Oh hey I guess I didn't convey my point clearly! When I said I didn't own the audio, I meant that I didn't record it. I haven't even seen a broadway show! Sorry it didn't make sense, I hope it does now.
