I absolutely love the way that both songs establish themselves, and then slowly work into each other, until we're going seamlessly from one chorus to the other. This video is such a fantastic mashup of two songs you might not expect to go together that well. It not only musically goes together, but it adds depth and layers to the songs, by making it a rivalry. And the cherry on top is that it's all a cappella, and it sounds amazing

Given the gray hair on the man who sang sweet caroline I am inclined to say that Caroline is Stacy's Grandmother and Stacy's Mom is Jesse's Girl. Which probably means that Jesse is Stacys Dad/Stepdad

I like to think woman in Stacy family tend to heartbreakers. From her mom Caroline to her aunts, Jolene and Roxanne. It even goes all the way back to Stacy’s grandma Sue. Stacy mom - Caroline ( sweet Caroline) Stacy aunt - Jolene ( Dolly Parton song) Her other aunt - Roxanne (song by the police) Stacy grandma - Sue (Runaround Sue)

This is such a fun video. You guys "act" just as well as your professional actors do. But one thing, you forgot to take your wedding rings off. Forest had his off at first. But then when you all were in the pool, it was on. Just something to think about for the next time. :D

The original "Stacy's Mom" could be dismissed as the protagonist being creepy, but here he sounds...genuinely desperate towards the beginning, and sad about the fact that he knows he doesn't have a chance with her. It's oddly beautiful.

It's fun to watch this again. Since I got involved with a little tv show myself, I am now noticing the reflective shades. You can see the camera guy in the shades. haha. We had to tell our actors not to wear them. Or at least find shades that were not reflective. All the technical things. haha
