He Zachariah had the shar wrong. ​Sorry, I am just now listening to this video and commented before I watched the whole thing. I should have waited till the end. I believe that science and religious beliefs will one day combine together and then we will fully understand everything. Several years ago, I had a sudden realization or revelation that the real reason there is so much suffering and misery on the earth is because those who are in power and making all the decisions are not human and do not have the qualities that make us human beings, such as love, compassion, empathy, mercy and forgiveness. They are not capable of feeling emotions and have no understanding of them, so they despise us and will destroy us if they can. But Jesus came here to show us what we are capable of and what we need to do to overcome and defeat them. Do other people tell you of getting these sudden downloads of knowedge and understanding?

The story I was referring to is in Matthew 17-22, when Jesus, accompanied by 3 of his disciples ascend a mountain where Jesus begins to shine like the sun, and beings who the disciples think are Moses and Elijah step out of a cloud and speak to Him. His disciples are terrified at what they are witnessing and cover their faces. Jesus tells them to say nothing about what they saw. Surely this is a close encounter. You spoke of His ascension after His death and reserection. Is the incident I referred to on another video?

FYI the earliest fragment of John's Gospel was found in Egypt and dates from around 100CE and is at the John Ryland(?) museum in Manchester. John the evangelist is said to have have lived to that time and we have the writings of Irenaeus whose mentor was a disciple of John. So that's actually a pretty close connection.
