Perfection. This was incredible. For years I wondered what happened to the original cast from the film. Breaks my heart that Carl Anderson was taken home. Can you imagine having him along with the rest of the cast today? I know he is smiling down on everyone.

FANTASTIS!! I first saw this movie when I was 23. Now I'm 74, still alive and kicking - and I still love this movie and this scene to death!!

At first I thought they might be lip-synching to the original. But then I noticed a few subtle differences in delivery, and realized they are singing live! Both are still in great voice!

They still have it. They still sound the same after all these years. Wow! Just wow! How they were able to retain those voices well into their old ages is simply amazing. Way to go, Bob and Kurt!

The best Caiaphas and Annas of all time. Bravo!

So wonderful to get to hear Bob sing after meeting him last year. He spoke so fondly of his friendship with Kurt. This video speaks to everything he said. So many feels.

I knew Kurt Yaghjian had been performing regularly in a doo-wop group, but I wondered what happened to Bob Bingham. This was amazing to watch. My favorite Caiaphas/Annas duo.

There has never been a better pair performing these parts since the movie 50 years ago. Bravo, gentlemen!

This song was written especially for the 1973 movie "Jesus Christ Superstar" but was never used in the stage musical until then.

There are things and people that come together to create something profound and magical. It doesn't always happen, but when it does, it resonates with those outside of the event - for eternity. This movie, these great actors, and a director's vision created lightning in a bottle that will forever be one of those moments and people. Nothing can take that away from them or those of us who were lucky enough to be able to bear witness to it. Consider the number of people who may not have understood the importance of the story that was told until this music and this movie lit a fire inside and changed the direction of their lives forever. Just how many people have you enlightened and saved in 50 years? The thought of it is staggering.

Absolute perfection then and now , just incredible vocals, I loved this film , thank you so much for the memories.

It is to bad Bob Bingham did not stay in acting. He could have been a big presence on stage and in theater. I would like to see some photos of him from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

Wow, what a gift to us all! This is one my favourite songs of JCS, it's a shame it was never added to the show because it adds such an interesting side to Caiaphas and Annas. But, it's also great that these wonderful two got to perform it in the movie and now, 50 years later... thank you so much for putting this together. Such a joy to see and hear Bob and Kurt rocking this song after all these years.

It’s so great seeing them sing this 50 years later, one of the most underrated songs from JCS- I wish it was in more productions! I didn’t even know about it until a while after I got into the musical

Seen so many professional stage versions of JCS, (grew up with it) . Seen this film countless times too and love this song/scene so much but never have I seen this song included in any stage version. I know it was wriiten for the film but it’s so good so don’t understand why never seen it included in stage paroductions..This video is amazing, seeing them now in their roles, goosebumps.

This was beyond awesome to see! When Bob sang his first line I couldn’t believe how perfect he sounded. This movie was and is so special in my opinion. The casting was absolutely perfect.

I love this show and have seen the movie and seen theatrical productions of it countless times. I've music-directed a production as well, and even worked backstage at a production that Ted Neely headlined at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Conn., in the mid'90s. I always thought "Then We Are Decided" was an extremely important addition to the score of "JCS". In the original album (the brown album with Ian Gillan and Murray Head), the first time we hear the priests is in "This Jesus Must Die". Adding "Then We Are Decided", as short of a song as it is, gives the listener much more insight into the priests' mindset, and exactly WHY they wanted Jesus to die. Really glad to see that Messrs Bingham and Yaghjian are alive and kicking, too.

AWESOME song. I was born in 1970 & still find the songs relevant and just like they were brand new!!!!

Fun Fact: Kurt both understudied and actually played Annas, Judas, and Pilate on Broadway, even playing all three of those leads on one weekend.

Young Bob Bingham looked more like Jesus than Neeley did. This song was especially composed for the movie and really adds to the plot. I am happy Bingham and Yaghan were able to reprise their roles. Their voices never aged.

This is my favourite musical even though it was made before I was born. I got to see Ted Neeley perform it in 2017. But the Caiaphas parts are my favourite and nobody has performed them as magnificently as Mr. Bingham. I often enter a room with "Gentlemen, you know why we are here".

OMG!! I stumbled across this when i was looking for the video of this song from the movie....I had no idea they'd done this! Absolutely magical! To anyone and everyone who was involved in creating this, and especially to Bob and Kurt for reprising their roles, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Absolutely stellar performances and seeing the two of them together again to perform this really fills my heart with joy!!

My late sister, Janet, was a sophomore at Vanderbilt University in 1971 or 72 and I was just a kid. The touring cast came to the stadium and she got tickets for us and her roommate. I rode in to work with my father (his office was in an administration bldg at Vandy Med School) and I stayed in the dorm for two nights. I felt terribly grown up! The musical changed so many things. I was already a theater rat and knew acting was to be my career and it was. This brings back so many marvelous memories for me and I miss my sweet sister so very very much.
