You know Father, every time I hear Jesus in the gospels I wonder how many times He shook His head, rolled His eyes, glanced at his apostles with perhaps a slight grin… before he responded to the Pharisees.

Paying The Imperial Tax To Ceasar: The Importance Of Money And Possessions: This is a reflection on the importance of money and possessions. Jesus is Speaking to the Pharisees who were very interested in material things. Jesus is Teaching them that it is more important to have a Heart that is pure and good than to have a lot of money. Other reflections on this passage include Giving to God, Holding on to Hope in times of Adversity, and Championing the cause of the Destitute. When We think about giving to God the things that are God's what are our Immediate Thoughts? Because Giving to God is Joyful. Thank You Rev. Mike O'Connor for Your Excellent Homily & God Bless!

You are just as precious as can be... so I wanted to reach out and let you know that St. ISAAC was actually quoting from Psalm 116. I recognized it because I am a cantor and have been reading the bible for 40 years. Its beautiful and perfect. Thank you for all you do!!

Lies are the currency of satan. Satan is a liar and a murderer. If you are on satan’ side, you are comfortable with the lies. Heed the warning. The truth wins. There’s no authority except from God. God is the only authority.

Jesus did not have to bite his tongue. The words on his lips were from the Father. To everyone else thinking it's ok to speak their mind, they better make sure their words are from, or encouraged by the Father!

JESUS POSSESSES GOD’S POWER AND SPIRIT JESUS SAID ALL POWER WAS GIVEN TO HIM IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH. THIS SAME POWER IS WHAT CAST OUT DEVILS, RAISED THE DEAD, CAUSE TO BLIND TO SEE, ETC. THIS IS THE POWER AND SPIRIT OF GOD. IN ROMANS 8:11, THIS IS THE SAME POWER AND SPIRIT THAT RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD, THE SAME SPIRIT THAT ALL MUST POSSESS IN ORDER TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS. IT IS JESUS THAT WILL ENABLE US TO BE UNITED WITH HIM WHO OWNS THAT SPIRIT, WHICH IS GOD IN HEAVEN (JOHN 14:3).
