Judas hated the perfume spend on Jesus' feet. He literally says it could have been spend on the poor. But would he have? Anyways, he didn't see the bigger picture and the importance of it all. That story taught me a lesson. We don't need to judge. It isn't about the amount of money, it's a about wether God asked it of the people who aired the ad. God is above money, and we must all act according to his will. We're in no place to determine this wasn't in accordance with it.
The perfume wasn't liquid money, but this was. Those stories are incomparable because the "non-profit org" used their funds poorly on the Super Bowl, which is already overpriced for any ads. Dont understand why yall would rather brainwash yourself to not free think and criticize the people in power for making poor decisions than give them accountability and make them better as people. Like literally, the world is a shitty place because people are lacking in needs and half the time die because they are unable to take care of themselves. Look because of that money spent for that add, many peoples took some time to focus on the Person of Jesus . Money, silver and Gold belongs to Jesus. He is the one who created everything. Do you know how much money it took Jesus to create you? He Said this in Matthew6:29: " Yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are." No one ever had money Like king Salomon, but Jesus Said that with all that money he couldn't dress compare to some flowers out there. For us money is very important but for Jesus the Salvation of one Soul that are in his way to hell is more important. Although Jesus is happy when we help the poor, we should recognize that the bible never said that there is Joy in front of Angels for one poor that got some help like he said for people who repent. People to repent we need to spend that kind of money to advertise Jesus. Those poor need to repent to be able to recover, because most of those poor was self cursed by their own choose of life by staying away from Jesus reel bless. Roman 3:07 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Because if you end up in hell , your money cannot take you away from there. All your money will be useful, but of because of that add you put your live in order with Jesus, you will escape hell.

On one hand, so much could have been done with the money. On the other hand, this could result in some people coming to the church (I mean the ad is like the seed in someone's heart).

But how many times did he say to feed the poor? How many times did he make miracles feed the poor? Because we're talking about one thing.... Versus multiple times he said to feed the poor... How is raise in fundamentalists church... Screaming jesus at people doesn't work especially when the majority of them are drunk... But it's o k in the end... John 4:8 declares that God IS LOVE. Jesus wants us to love each other as our ourselves/like brothers. The Lord could’ve placed on their hearts to do so with this ad. We must not be so quick to judge God’s people on how they chose to get the message of the Gospel across to the rest of God’s creation. Especially near the end times when it’s most important/urgent. As Christian’s we don’t wanna see anyone suffer or go to hell no matter our differences… most Christian’s ended up Christian’s because of the amount of sin and tragedy they were involved in before getting saved and finding Gods Love again, through His Son, Jesus. Just pray for each other instead of criticize one another before talking to God about it first.
Sorry, I don’t buy some of the arguments used to justify this. The thing with the alabaster jar was a one time thing that really stuck out because such gestures were not common. Nowadays it’s money and bling bling 24/7. These mega churches are always boasting of these massive building projects, massive publicity stunts and private planes etc. etc. Faith unaccompanied by action is indeed dead. The young people especially see the vacuousness and corruption behind this showbiz theology and want no part of it. I can’t say I blame them. Believers need to do better.

They have no problem circumnavigating people's intelligence just long enough to extort money from them. It’s not about the money being spent, it’s about the message that’s being sent across the nation. The return of Jesus will be sooner than most think… prophecy and revelations are already being fulfilled or have almost all been fulfilled now. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and repent of your sins so you may be at peace with God and have no guilt deteriorating your spiritual health.
With the technology we have now, there’s no reason an ad like this should cost that much money to put out. What’s wrong with the old fashioned, not to mention Biblical way of spreading the Word through one to one personal contact with people? The modern church is completely given over to an opulence and decadence of wealth never imagined 2000 years ago. Why is it that these groups NEVER use their vast resources to help disabled people who have to choose between therapy or medications and rent, or pensioners who are going hungry? They always blow it on grandiosity and bombast. There’s a very good reason Christianity has zero credibility in today’s world; the salt has lost its savour.
They went with AI so they didn't have to pay background actors minimum wage. So this ad really just made rich people more rich and they could have done so much good with the money.
