Jesus The Mediator of the New Covenant 

In a courtroom, we have an attorney who makes a plea on our behalf, the attorney is a mediator who stands between us and the judge and speaks on our behalf, when we come to the Lord, we have a mediator who speaks to the Father in heaven on our behalf and His blood that purifies us from all sin speaks a verdict - not guilty!
