Thank you for talking about Hell in great detail. So many pastors avoid the terrific future of so many people in order to please their listeners. I actually had a so-called sister in Christ who said she would have never come to Christ if someone told her she was a sinner whose eternal destiny is Hell if she didn't repent and come to Jesus.

I am asking for prayers for a brother in Christ and a longtime close friend, his name is David Woods. He recently lost his job due to sudden onset and declining health. He has filed for SSD/SSI but they drag their feet… Davids wife lost her SSI because his income, she too has filed for it to be reinstated… They will be homeless on the 15th of June 2024 if they do not have the rent for May and June by Friday. John’s preaches are so good; however, I still cannot believe the ‘conscious’ part of John’s teaching on the eternal nature of Hell. Revelation 21 specifies that The beast and the false prophet together with Satan will be tormented day and night forever and ever in the lake of fire, in verse 10. However, when speaking of those whose names are not written in the Book of Life in verse 15, it says that they are cast into the lake of fire; Notice it does not repeat the phrase ‘To be tormented forever and ever.’ You may say that this is splitting hairs, but I think this is important enough to raise a question . For my own part, I have to question why there has to be an eternal punishment for a ‘crime’ that is not eternal in nature….i.e. sin? And finally, Jesus himself speaks of ‘eternal punishment’ for unrepentant sinners. Surely a punishment can be eternal in duration and NOT be conscious? Death, I.e absence of eternal life can be the eternal punishment in itself, can it not? Anyway, just my thoughts; I’m open to constructive criticism.

If we take literally the items described as being in heaven an hell such as harps and thrones and fire and worms, then it seems to me that they are parallel worlds with at least some of the same physical properties as the earth.

Everlasting punishment means that it will be done and not undone. When you burn a match, you can not unburn it. It is burned forever not forever burning. It doesn’t say ever lasting life. Only the saved have everlasting life. It does say that for the devil and his demons from the verse above.

I have reservations about alien invasion in the Book of Revelation. The book is full of symbolic images. The alien creatures described in the book of revelation could be symbolic and not to be taken literally.

Humans are not immortal, only those who come to Christ have eternal life. Thus no one in the lake of fire would have eternal life, and it says second death too, so concluding this logically means that eternal punishment and second death means to PERISH forever not LIVE FOREVER in torture mode. I've listened to many of his sermons on this channel and I've found many things in all of them which do not line up with scripture. There was one posted just a few days ago where he was telling people what states are best to be in for riding out "the soon to arrive" armagedon so as to save your life, or at least for a little longer - some states had more water, food or other material world resources. The guy needs to stop being a preacher and get his Relationship with God established, because right now his preaching is filled with hints from the devil.
