Very cute and very true! The only thing they forgot to mention is that Santa stems from St Nick who was actually a saint. Still, Jeasus is the true reason for the season. I however believe that he can coexist with Santa. Children must be taught that Christmas is a time for loving and giving - and some times, yes some extra special surprises in the "getting department." Still there is nothing wrong with Santa as long as children understand who he stems from and what Christmas is really about.
Haha I liked this...I'm not sure at the end was he swearing? Santa is just a silly character made up I don't think Santa is evil (and I don't think they were trying to say that) It just bring into focus the truth.
In reality, I don't know if they were trying to mock God or what and trying to persuade people that he doesn't exist. On the other hand, could it have been trying to make a point that we are not to follow tradition, but the very word of God? Personally, I hope that they weren't trying to mock him. You be the judge.
Very nice play. Children should be taught to love and give all times not just christmas. Christmas is all about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ end of story. Santa is just kiddies end of year fun. I don't agree with a statement made here that Jesus can co-exist with Santa. They are not the same entity. Christ who is risen and is seated in Heaven at the right hand of God the father is a spirit and no more a man so can't be compared. Brilliant concept and script nonetheless.
