I will DEFINITELY give Mr. LaValley and Mr. Vails credit for allowing other piano player's to play. That's true respect for other gifts. Mrs. Inez reminds me sooooo much of my auntie in Mississippi.
RIP Madame Inez. What a class act. Praise God for the living, my Beloved uncle Herbert still inspiring and uplifting so many with his gifts. Talents like these are immortalized by the marks they have made on soooooo many!
I love listening to all these Gospel songs. The singers & musicians just seem so natural, like they are very familiar with the lyrics & they are singing from their hearts. That piano solo by Mr. Herbert Pickard wss very special indeed. Loved it.
It was Inez Andrews, with her raspy voice, who inspired me to sing as a child. Growing up on her music and my own voice being deeper than average, gave me the courage to step behind a microphone. I'm grateful to that woman always!
I believe the male singer is Bishop Charles Hayes of the Cosmopolition church in Chicago where he has been the overseer for a long time and where Diane Williams of "Jesus can work it out" fame got her start. This song was sang in my childhood church all the time, right now I'm believing Jesus will fix it.

True but he wasn't a Bishop..He was simply known as Dr. Charles G. Hayes..(Affectionately) called Father Hayes. I was under Him in Chicago for about 10 years when his church (Cosmopolitan Church of Prayer Spiritual) was at 6850 Cottage Grove in Chicago. The Diane Williams part you are correct. She's better known as the (walking bible)..after Jesus Can Work It Out)🙂
@ thanks for the info, you can always learn something new,I am Florida raised and their music was always part of the music library here, again thank you so much and be blessed 😊

@@5710bryantk OH your very welcome. And look we hear the "Florida Mass Choir" down there singing 🎶 😄
This gathering never made it to distribution. I forgot the story behind it but a select few that sung obtained a copy anyway and it just released it in rotation....
This whole concert should be put on a Blu-ray with DTS sound ;-) It's a shame that rights prevent this to be :-(( I thought that God's rights were much powerful than human-ego-economic rights...
If you google The Argo Singers, you will find one life performance of them. You will, although she is not wearing glasses here, recognize Rebecca Nixon immediately. If you read all the comments beneath this (and comments on other performances from this session), you will find this anwer too. Don't blame yourself for being young, though, it's very nice that you love this music. So do I!
I would have love to meet all of these individuals.do they still congregate in this church. where is this located i lived in New york, and will be passing through Chicago soon to visit California. If i knew where i really would try to visit this Church.I do realize that some of them pass on any information would be valuable. God bless. Thanks for the information.
Hello Bridall, Quite a few of the people in this video are dead. some may be still living. These are what we call Gospel Trail Blazers. I don't think they have these gospel campmeetings anymore as traditional gospel has sort of faded.
Only Jesus will bring you through when it raining outside and cold. Jesus will provide a way, He is my Rock, keeping me in The Palm of His Hand.Keep me in your Prayer. The Lord Watchmen
Pee Wee played on this video and I couldn't remember the song, but this one...man! oh! man! he sure can play. Bill gaither produce this video back in the '90's in his studio in Indiana but never made them to sell. I think a million people should write Bill and tell him how important this music is and how people today need to hear it. I want to buy one! AMEN!
dats what i am talking about! sing to the Lord, not to the people. gospel music and choirs are not for entertainment, back flips and da cabbage patch; you are singing praises and worshiping God! not sure what they singing about or what they are doing these days but they need to watch some of these old school videos to see what its all about!
I see he is still doing the Lords work, spent many a Sunday, listening and singing to his work. Greater New Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. As a matter of fact we used to sing this very song............
Sister Arnez one of my favorite singers I like the one don't move the mountain may she continue to rest in peace and that musician is awesome off the chain he is really gifted and Anointed God bless him
Love these amazing old gospel jamming of great artists who have been through highs and lows and therefore they are able to worship God in spirit and truth, bringing that great element of "witnessing" in their singing. Their witnessing brings alive those biblical worshippers words "with my mouth I will make known Thy faithfulness to all Generations". There is great strength and bold witnessing that is passed down to the next generation through their music making. I believe they are a fabulous generation that lived and witnessed God's goodness and is able to give thanks to God and witness to us of another generation of His marvelous faithfulness. So blessed to hear them, from Sri Lanka ❤.
I been going through some crazy things lately. I ask God for confirmation and i woke up with this song on my mind. I know everything gonna be ok, just be patient.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
