My first tai chi class master asked me if I'd practice at home cuz my moves were fluent and better than the class. I was afraid to say I like to do kung fu after watching these kinds of movies.
Don't be afraid to tell your master, I'm sure he was just curious, as those who haven't tried doing such movements at all seem stiff and don't look fluent.

I don't really know. I came out with 1) be steadfast in your cultivation of mercy or 2) even mercilessness is a seed that can be cultivated into mercy.
