Jet Moto had an awesome soundtrack. The track used for Snowblind is also used in Twisted Metal 2's Los Angeles stage. Nightmare was an difficult circuit when I first played. Jet Moto 2 upped the ante with the amazing Nebulous circuit. You start in Heaven then go to Hell and it repeats. In heaven music is all orchestral until go down to Hell lightening strikes than it morphs into heavy metal guitar riffs and drum solos.
I remember the one commercial for either this one or one of the sequels where the guy was getting questioned by the cops and runs away then they find him under a pool and the cop yells "FREEZE RIGHT THERE (BLEEP)!"
I've never played the 1st game or the 3rd one and I don't have them. I only have the 2nd one. I can't wait to see you review Jet Moto 2. 2 is my favorite one.
Kinda wish I tried the first 2 Jet Moto games only ever grew up on the 3rd game which admittedly is my personal favorite purely due to the speed you can achieve in that game. Though I recall it isn't exactly a fan favorite of the PS1 Trilogy.
When sony lost interest in classic playstation titles such as this, jumping flash, etc, and moved toward making purely 3rd person action adventure, I jumped ship. The library diversity sucks now in comparison.
All the product placement throughout this game is hilarious, that's how you know this is an old ass game, if a dev tried that today they'd get their balls sued off. lol
