Bro what kind of jet upholstery tool you're using. I've never seen overspray like that

Ya - never seen a jet push that much water. What modification did you do that make it spray like that? I would not by your product on princible now.

It's an add for dry master, dry master is crap on corners, best to get a jet and turn pressure down. I have 35 years experience. Hope this helps. Best way is to clean all cushions outside, and base if possible, use a tarp under base in side,

100% going to invest in a jet less tool. I’ve always been hesitant to clean upholstery as it’s much a “messy” job

Please explain to me why people are not using clean water in with jet rinse? soap first and rinse after, leaving no soap residue or shooting on someones antiques

Do you make a carpet wand like this, too? The problem with HWE is it pressure washes dirt into the backing as part of the process of dislodging soil from the fibers, but since carpets are always still wet after cleaning, you have by definition left dirt, skin cells and pet hair deep in the back of the carpet to rot and wick back. This is why I only use VLM methods now, but a similar jetless tool might make me consider HWE again for selected applications (e.g. large areas of greasy carpet where it is inefficient to have to change so many bonnets).

Yeah but encapsulation just pushes the dirt around and only pulls part of it out.
@spotlesscarpetupholsterycl460
Just turn the pressure psi down it’s obviously set far to high that why there’s so much overspray !

Would you prefer to use this on a brand new car?

Would work fairly well on car upholstery but there are hand tools made for car use that reach into crevices a little better.

I have NEVER seen a hot water extractor spray that much water ever. Bias much?

are you kidding? its not just going everywhere around upholstery i m cleaning, depending on fabric and the angle of cleaning, i often get water into my face, and over my vision glasses and my machine is only 150psi. some clients have waxed floors, any hot water drip on floor shows as white and just wiping it is not enough, i would have to mix ammonia solution to remove wax, then wash ammonia of and then wipe it clean, that is extra 20 min of work. often furniture is near windows, now i have to clean windows from over spray after i m done and thats worse than floor, every streak shows. my advice, internal spray is amazing, advertised tool is good on fabric blinds, its definitely not good for carpets! small debris can get stuck in very narrow opening, if little sharp peace of glass gets stuck while you cleaning, your next stroke will cut fabric open( it happened to me)

Check out the Shear-Dry tool that's the one I use now. super light but tough, you won't get burned or have to wear gloves to use the tool when using a truck mounted system. You can't break it and the parts are so affordable to rebuild when needed. 1.5 years now and only 3 screws removed to clean out hair occasionally.

he's being funny.. a demonstration on clean upholstery is a waste of time and demonstrates nothing. Taking a $95 entry level old school tool, traveling super slow, with the wrong jet in it shows how disingenuous this video review is. Try being a little intellectually honest instead of being a grandstanding showman.

wish you had used a different chair. you can't tell which one actually cleans better
@ClickToClean
@ClickToClean 6 лет назад
Yeah that probably would have been a good plan. This is the only chair I had to clean at the office. The jetless tool may have a slight cleaning advantage because of its ability to constantly circulate water so it gets very hot. With that said, a good technician can make either tool work.

This isnt a matter to jet or not jet, it's a matter of bias and what you're trying to sell

Seriously exaggerating the psi or jet size on this demonstration. A shill for Hydramaster perhaps?? So a portable will run out of water pretty fast with the DM3. Personally, I can't stand the cumbersome length of the Hydramaster tool. It just won't maneuver with any agility for upholstery work. They even came out with a grab post making it a two-handed tool (yea that's not exactly ergonomic) and the price of the tool and to replace the water flow when damaged puts it in the upper-cost category. My PMF Hi-Dry tool was internal jetting and never overwet unless I wanted it to (and with filthy upholstery out there you bet you want to wet the backing just to get out the grime). There are other tools out there that feed solution without overspray and they're much more compact in size and have a compact price as well.

Only the tried and tested "Enclosed Jet" tool will do!! To me this new jet less tool seem like a waste of time and money. It will clogg easily and you can not pre spray the fabric. Meaning you can not really clean anything professionally.
