This video was produced to demonstrate the supreme measure of control the Lateral Thrusters provide to operators of Yamaha single engine and twin engine boats. This boat was equipped with our V2 cast version of the Lateral Thruster and Thrust Vectors. While it is not necessary to have Thrust Vectors installed to get these results, you can see from the footage that having Thrust Vectors installed does not negatively impact slow speed control in reverse.

Have these on my FSH.. there is a learning curve for me, as the boat tends to do the opposite of what I'd expect with steering input and reversing.. this is probably more my fault then the product (new to jet boats).

Think of it like this. Turn the wheel the way you want the stern to travel, just the same as when you're going forward. Then apply reverse thrust and you will get the result you're looking for.

I put this on my 2017 Yamaha SX195.... I’m not exaggerating the boats reverse maneuverability is 100% better. I urge anyone with a Yamaha to check out their lateral thruster for single or twin engine.

Why don’t the companies that sell Jet powered Boats tell customers about your product? Or include them in the sale?

We tried this approach when we first launched the product. Apparently Yamaha engineers had already been working on their version for a few years prior to our product's launch. We feel that our solution is a solid one and that it would benefit the OEM to put them on the boat from the factory. This has not materialized so for now we are content to continue marketing and selling these direct to the user.

Wow. My 2017 242 LS E-Series does not do anything close to that in reverse. I'm definitely going all in for this, as well as the thrust vectors. This is ridiculously cool. I'll be ordering soon.
