I think Ghanshyam Nayak is the only one who acted in both the shows - as Vitthal (Sarabhai vs Sarabhai) & as Nattu Kaka (TMKOC).

Sumeet Raghavan is a great artist. Very underrated. Dileep Joshi is a legend. Jethala is probably one of the most famous people in our country .They don't make them like this anymore😁

Sumeet Raghavan is a highly underrated and multi faceted actor and singer! From dabbling in theater, to being a runner up in Marathi Saregamapa, acting in several Marathi and Hindi shows to his successful stint in Marathi movies...hats off to him! We all know about Taarak Mehta and Sarabhai, but Shubh Mangal Saavdhan was the real deal, would have loved to hear more on that! Nevertheless thanks @Sorabh for getting these legends together 🙂

I worked on Aapla Manus and had a couple of interactions with Sumeet. He is such a nice person on set (with the little I have experienced). He kept it light and funny on set.

Big Respect for Dilip Joshi & Sumeet Raghavan for calling out that abusive language is not necessary for series to work.

I have started watching Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai again on my Sony Liv subscription which I took for SCAM. Reached 50 episodes in 3-4 days. It's still gold. The Ghotalas, the Bhatts, the D'Souzas, and the Ojhas all uniquely weird and they make you laugh so much. (sometimes you cry too) The best series on SAB TV ever.

I like how he was honest about him not being in favour of all the abusive language used on ott webseries and he also told it's his personal thought and it's all for their own

I still watch Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo quite often, what a hilarious show it was! Sumeet's acting was brilliant, and he had amazing comic timing.

The writing and character work in shows like Sarabhai vs sarabhai and Khichdi is really underrated. The best thing is that they didn't try to blindly copy sitcom from west and created their own world suitable for indian audience which I think is also same for a lot of TVF content.

Watching Jethalal off character is so odd to see....but yeah he's been a great entertainer and tmkoc's been the only show which has been mostly talked till now even if it comes to comedy.The old episodes are so nostalgic in those times with no androids and the whole family used to stick to the tv at 8:30.

Summet Raghavn & Dilip joshi is the best Comic Icons of Television. They are both in my best childhood Comedy serial Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.

Is anyone else surprisingly annoyed hearing Dilip Joshi talk in decent English? So used to hear him talk in the "Jethalal English" with "poblem", "poof" and "heplicoptar"..😂😂 not able to digest this..

Star One was great youthful channel though.. I remember many good shows on it. Sarabhai, instant Khichadi, Dil Kya Chahta hai, Pyaar ki Kashti Me.. And I think Remix also... Sab TV.. really enjoyed all the shows.. it started with a bang.. Yes Boss, Shrimaan Shrimati (may be DD original), then I'm sure no one will remember. But Taarak Mehta is not a new concept. There was a show called Aflatoon on Sab TV.. which was almost similar with stereotypes... (Marathi also had similar shows) ... I think the reason why Taarak lifted. Is because Jethalal and Daya.. I think they were not meant to be central characters initially... Then looking at their performance they were made lead....

Sumit raghvan and dilip joshi both are excellent actor. Very exciting to see both of them together sharing their personal experience. Thanks Sourav pant for bringing vipul goyal in delhi takes over and now this...so amazing...

My whole childhood was just comprised to tarak Mehta and Sarabhai. Sarabhai is still my go to series to watch, cause it was way beyond its time and with Tarak Mehta I have the sweetest memory which was me and nanaji used to binge on this serial and laugh so much. Thank you Saurabh for this lovely episode😻

My two most absolute favourite actors. I owe my sanity to them, whenever I was depressed or in the grips of anxiety, I watched Sarabhai and Tmkoc . These shows were a soothing balm to my soul. They are legends.

DILIP JOSHI is the best well known Indian actor alive. PERIOD.

I still remember Shubh Mangal Savadhan tv series..one of the epic comedy series on national television ..still miss those days ..hope for a comeback of the tv series of 3 actors coming together

That "DADA" of Dilip bhai at 6:06 is in reference to one of the best comedies on Indian television which they both worked in .. Shubh Mangal Savadhan .. I hope to find all episodes of SMS and Bhagwan Bhachaye Inko ..

People who criticize shows like TMKOC dont know what purpose it serves. These daily running comedy shows help common folks just tune in whenever they want to tune off when they dont get break to watch in. Inspite of downfall in writing, TMKOC shouldnt be compared to daily soaps because it makes someone laugh somewhere and feel nice. Its like tuning into our society and checking whats gone on there.

I watched Sarabhai vs Sarabhai's both seasons 2 times in lockdown while exercising. Right now I don't even listen to songs anymore. Both Sumeet sir and Dilip sir are so talented. Loved today's episode. Please get such talented legends more often. Also if possible can you ask Sumeet sir, when is Sarabhai vs Sarabhai Season 3 and Bade dooor se aaye hai Season 2 coming out? 😅

I can't control to comment again and again but sumit sir badi door se Aaye Hain serial just aapko Baar Baar dekhne ke liye dekhti hu because your simple but effective personality amazed me

Listening to Jethalal speak proper English is a treat for me 😅 Ps: Tarak mehta ka oltah chashma is a comfort TV show for me and I’ve been watching the repeated episodes for the 5th time now.

I just watched the entire episode of the Sarabhai show titled - "Indu-Roshe's Poetry War" when Dilip Joshi mentioned it... Now I can understand why it "turned out" to be a phenomenon a lot later on when it was originally aired. The references such as "Alfred Hitchcock, Contemporary Cinema, Onomatopoeia", and might be more references that I missed, are proofs that what incredible and brilliant minds of the writers were (or still are). Considering and remembering the hazy memories of late 2005s, even though the most I've watched is Shaktimaan or Takeshi's Castle all the time but still, I don't remember shows like Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai something people are talking about or watching on the relaxing weekend days, and also can't wonder on my own right now shows like these being in the Top 10 TRP List "that time" BUT, it did come into the spotlight in around 2007 (as Sumeet Raghavan said) because somewhere I believe, if you check out the list of 2007 Bollywood movies, 2007 has been the time when mainstream media and content started getting due consideration and acknowledgment, regardless of the content quality. Jab We Met, Aaja Nachle, Gandhi, Dhamaal, Fool n Final, and many more are there which people were talking about a lot. Well, still oblivion to this show. Soon going to watch Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai now. Thank you for this stream Saurabh! Love you!

(Haven't started the video yet... But) I am so happy to see 'Original' "Shubh Mangal Savdhan" pair together again. Used to love their comedy in that series. Both of them and 2 girls who played Milli n Julie were also awesome.

I am finding this gem of video after a year being Sumeet sir and Dilip sir my most favourite actors of Indian TV. Started watching them from Subh Mangal Savdhan, Hum Sab Ek Hain, Sarabhai VS Sarabhai, Jai Hind, and many many many more... It was really sad to hear when Summet sir saying how when first Sarabhai VS Sarabhai was thought to be "Yeh Serial nahi chala" when it was showing in Star One because it was then I already was loving them. Unfortunately during that phase people were only watching daily soap and saas-bahu serials else it would have been as successful like TMKOC now. But it was super awesome when JD sir came with such fabulous cast again as part 2 and being a big and a greedy fan I would keep on wanting more and more. Summet sir was my first and last crush when it comes to Indian TV. TMKOC breaking all records. What fabulous hold of story, comedy its awesome. Holding such a huge star cast together for such a long period is not less than achievement. Loving you both equally and watching you both together is nothing less than a treat. Being a big big big fan of you both Summet sir and Dilip sir, knowing you guys worked together off screen as well (in theater and other platform) I am even more happy. And now watching you guys one after the other in SAB its no less than a blessing. Lots of love to you... May we watch you guys for still years and years long. Thank you @Sorabh Pant for bringing them together... Watching episode about Kiku Sharda and Gaurav Gera after this because they are one of my favourites too...

I used to love tmkoc honestly . It was my favourite show at that time , I could watch with entire family . Now I don't watch it because I don't have the time , but my family still does , because they love it. Our generation have became hypocrites now , judging each and every person .

We have watched complete Sarabhai at least 3 times (including when it came on Star). While Sumit sir rightly said that audience was probably not ready then, I remember diligently watching it every week and falling down from our sofa laughing listening to one of Rosesh's legendary poetry then. Recently saw again in lockdown (both seasons), this time with my son, and must say all generations of our family have enjoyed the show. The characters have become house hold names, inc Kaccha Kela, Dushyant, Madhusudan bhai!

These two worked together in a gujarati drama some 20 years ago and it was dhamaal...I watched it in auditorium 3 times...how i wish that drama was available on some platform
