3 scenarios where Rodgers trade is a win: 1) Jets win a SB with Rodgers 2) Rodgers helps make Zach franchise QB 3) Rodgers changes Jets culture to foster a future QB Any one of these would be worth the trade, any combination is a grand slam
Happy for Rich because his Jets are real contenders for the first time in ages. Brutal schedule may not indicate their progression, but by the end of the year, if healthy, they have the talent to be good.
Teaching him how to breathe through his eyelids…. Learning the cliches. Just happy to be here. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose. Sometimes it rains.
Zach Wilson got a god a gift from the football gods. He has Aaron Rodgers as a mentor for a few years. I hope it helps him out for the future because he seemed to lose his confidence last season.
Aaron talking about Zach made me realise that Zach truly is done in the NFL. Not once did he talk about route tree's, progression, reading defenses or anything of the sort. We know Zach has the mechanics to be a NFL QB.... what he does not have is the brain for it and i think Aaron see's the same thing.
There's a huge difference there. Rodgers is 39 and Zach is 24 and still a full year plus younger than Rodgers was when he made his first start in the NFL. Montana was just 31 and only 5 years older than Young and still had many years left to play
I love how all the haters are just saying the jets won’t do anything because of Rodgers but I can’t wait for all of them to disappear once Rodgers lights up the league. Every one of these kids talk all off-season but disappear when they do good
I know there are QBs like Steve Young who got better after going to a different team and sitting behind Montana. But has this situation ever happened before? Has any team ever drafted a QB, he stinks, they trade for a proven vet and then the young usurped QB takes over after a couple years and is miraculously good?
Zach isn’t developing into anything. QBs taken second overall have a ceiling of mariota. The dream scenarios Aaron stays for three years and we get a real quarterback after he leaves.
All of a sudden Zach Wilson will be a star because Aaron is their 😂. Rich is setting himself up for failure so much. What will his excuses be for Aaron once they flame out in December or January.
I can’t wait for the season to start cause y’all are unbearable ever since you got Rodgers. Y’all are going to be so disappointed when you don’t make the playoffs
I remember a story years ago about a kid at Packers training camp who was trying to get autographs, and Rodgers went over to the kid and the kid said something like "No, not you, him" and pointed to Favre. I bet Rodgers has remembered that kid, and I wonder if that has something to do with the way Rodgers treats younger QB's
Dude I love listening to Rodgers. So cool a man who kinda looks and sounds like a librarian goes out into the arena for modern day gladiators and gets slammed around.
Why does Brockman make points against you but then looks to you like he's yearning for acknowledgement? Reminds me of a kid who seems unsure of what he's saying.
