After 4 days and 20+hrs of trolling around I finally hooked up. It had been such a crappy week for the weather. Everyday i'd get home and see an ocean full of white caps and the wind absolutely howling. But I was so sick of looking at pictures of everyone else catching fish so I decided to head out again and it payed off. I have never been more excited to catch a fish in my life. I have put thousands of dollars and so much of my time to try and catch one of the these fish. Every time I'd go out I'd see bird diving and people around me hooking up I was so ready to give up but I persisted. Can't catch a fish sitting at home. 19.3kg of local Barwon Heads Southern Bluefin Tuna. What a start to 2021. Yewww
