Imagine you're working late at the office and look out your window, only to see an unbelievably buff dude telekinetically exploding helicopters while a cybernetic ninja dances around him.
@@elgordobondiola No, that's unpossible. He may not write his own speeches, but he's smart enough to con Raiden into going from putting a stop to his operation, and turning that on its head into expanding it. He's smart enough to realize why and how we need to fuck all these limpdick lawyers and chickenshit bureaucrats.
>played college ball >becomes a sitting Senator >destroys $1Billion in military hardware and personnel just to flex >gets disarmed >dismembers a random Brazilian samurai >"You're hired." >leaves without elaborating
By the alert noise "!" That was incredible :0 Your ultra instincts just kicked in, By any chance do you also play Dark Souls? Bet you'd be able to speedrun it with skills like that-
Thanks. I played dark souls, of course, not so much when compared with some RU-vidrs, but for me it's a lot. The numbers will not be accurate because at first I did not play on a license. Dark Souls 1 - about 300 hours. Dark Souls 2 - about 500 hours. Dark Souls 3 - about 700 hours. I stopped playing because I was tired of these games. Well, I'm not as good as you say, I'm not interested in speedrun's
I was still surprised when they said Sam barely got any upgrades, and most of it was just pure skill on his own part. Imagine him getting a state of the art upgrade like Raiden, tailor made to suit his skills. He could surpass Raiden with ease if he got a specialized cyborg body to amplify his already superhuman skills.
meh, Sam would never agree, his own character motivation when he was on his peak was self improvent, no matter what you gave to him if he didn't get it by his own effort and experience it would be worthless
@@justadummy8076 Well that's why I specifically mentioned giving him state of the art upgrades, and tailor made to enhance his skills. Not the factory line upgrade's for an arm he likely got, that were not good enough for his fighting style, let alone replicate or even improve upon it. Getting mass produced parts, or specialized and personalized parts can make all the difference.
@@jefthereaper Yes, you can make any character more powerful by giving them more resources/technology/magic. This is still a pointless argument that makes you look like you don't know or care about Sam's character, you just want to wax poetic about power levels and put him on a pedestal.
His neck was too thick with the nano machine, the hand was gathering back to normal so that's where he thought to hit From what I can gather Sam's hq Murasama can't directly pierce the armor only when it's half harden then he can go for the strike
@@nevergonnagiveyouup1853 IMAGINE A WORLD RAIDEN, FREE FROM CANCEL CULTURE, WHERE NO ONE CAN CALL ME FOR MY OUTLANDISH CLAIMS!! *A WORLD WHERE I CAN SAY THE N-WORD!!!*
2:30 holy crap at this point how the hell a buffed Brazilian guy managed to fight a monster like Armstrong just look at that LMAO. If his right arm wasn't fcked up, Raiden would have never had a chance. (And still I guess he let Raiden killed him in order to forgive himself due to the amount of bad things he has done).
to me this is canon, Sam just lose because he wanted to end with Armstrong fastest way possible. (also he could stab Armstrong on his stomach to literally kill him)
It's inevitable that Sam will work for Senator Armstrong and go down dueling with Jack who will have his red sword to beat the senator. The game is a prequel after all
in cutscene after this it show that sam out of breath that why he have to end it fast as possible it's really great detail that show he still human that have stamina litmit and it's the reason why he can't dodge armstrong attack at the end he fight all way up from bottom to top and have to fight monster like this and he almost beat armstrong with pure skill that truly badass
You know. I always wondered why my father "Nanomachines" never decided to fix Mr. Armstrong's eyesight. He told me that another part of his job was to keep the boss looking classy and those glasses really solidified the look. Stay golden pops. Your son, Nanite.
@@jellymatsuryuka6853 yeah like how i learned to force choke from watching vader killing a rebel brutally by force choking him and also this sounds really weird out of context.
What they won't tell you is that his real source of power is his glasses. They are invincible, and they are controlling Armstrong's body to gain power until he is strong enough to blow up Earth.
Yeah, even in the main game he can be pretty random. But you could at least dodge/parry most of his attacks there. But in the DLC? His entire fight is just a giant RNG cancer fiesta. I fucking hated it
@@riatorex8722 I replayed the game now I no damaged him in the main game on hard, very hard and revengeance without much trouble In dlc I beat him with zero health packs left on hard and got C rank This fight is cancer
Im really curious how that dodge happened at 2:36-2:39. I normally pick up on sound cues for bosses and other things by watching Speedruns so I can do things casually. Was that a quick Blade Mode into a dodge to get out of the way? Just curious as its been a few years since I played MGR.
@@Number_135 Ah I see. I like to analyse things like this in games I grew up with it helps if I ever get back into them, or Parting Skies Heavenly Light glowing that Konami remasters MGR for PS4 and 5. But regardless I appreciate the reply.
I can prove it by the fact that only on this difficulty it explodes immediately after the first hit (I don’t know how else to call it) You can watch other videos with this boss on revengeance mode. At the beginning of the fight, he will do the same
@@Number_135 Do you want a secret? I know from other videos that this is the Revengeance difficulty mode. I just saw the comment that was below, and I'm just laughing at the fact that the way Armstrong gets fierce damage, the dude doesn't understand that this is the highest level of difficulty of the game. The whole secret is in Sam's taunts, isn't it?
I have vague memories of this "Jetstream Sam" individual having a game of his own. "Vanquish," I think it was called. My oldest brother finished it in a weekend. He must have liked it. I never really did. The gameplay was something, but the story was never outstandingly compelling. Not compelling enough to compel me to play the game, anyway. I think the main antagonist in the game was some Slav dude in a red armor similar to Sam's called Zaitsev. Heck of a trip down memory lane. Simpler times.
I honestly feel like there should be a secret/alternative/non-cannon ending if you beat him with no damage. That takes so much time, skill and practice to do, you deserve to actually kiII Armstrong if you do that
The Nano machines inside Armstrong's body are truly amazing. They appear to be able to store a massive amount of energy which can be used to manipulate magnetic fields, discharge heat in the form of massive fires and reassemble missing parts.
anybody whos played this fight on revengeance knows how scuffed it is, with armstrong spamming invulnerable moves. props on the dedication to s rank the fight regardless!
The 1 and some what only reason why I like sam is because him and raiden said the same thing to Armstrong with the same sword. Raiden said it at the end of the game with the beast song to come out of this game. And sam said it to start his battle with Armstrong. It’s nice two minds really do think alike.
Lol Platinum tuned this boss to be so ridiculously aggressive that his super charge bugs out in this tiny arena, they really wanted us to suffer to beat this DLC
I tried 3 times and got B but after watching your video i did it in the first try and got S in the last fight cause now as i know defending from sword every time is not good dodging is more important here 😊. but full chapter 😅A.
I do not think so. I have only 2-3 normal videos on my channel, the rest are either clips from apex legends or cringe videos on which I didn’t really try
