I assume you know who DrainAddict is, is there a reason you don't have the reel/valve setup he has? It just seems very convenient, rather than going back and forth to the van to start the jetter.
yeah know DrainAddicts channel, they do look convenient, im not sure why but they are not very common in the UK, Most companies do now have letters with foot pedals or remotes but my jetter is a bit to old for that I think its is at least about 18 years old believe it or not but it has been looked after so doesn't look or feel that old
I think you do a wonderful job with explaining what you are doing, without the noise of the background like some other channels ,that you cannot hear what they are saying ,unless l put on the C C ,also l think you do the best cleaning up of all the drain guys ,keep up the amazing work and you will continue getting more subscribers in no time ,P S ,your daughter is so cute ,l have to mention that 😂❤❤
Thank you, its definitely better doing a voice over after filming we work with such load equipment its hard to be heard clearly. Thank you i like to leave things cleaner then i found them it always leaves a better impression to the customers 🤣
Even though the tree fire station gullies were clear , why not remove silt out of drain . Which will prevent premature drain blockage in the future . I consider it to be only half a job on them .
Excellent as always and great spatial awareness with the van. Not long after passing my test I parked in such a tight space I couldn't open the doors. As a newly qualified driver, I was impressed by my parking but then felt such an eejit 😂 Will you do a camera survey on that soakaway at a later date?
sounds like a stupid question (i have never really seen what a soakaway looks like internally) but i see a lot of jetting companies start jetting and then say 'this is more than likely a soakaway' how do you tell the difference between standard drainage and these? I know you mentioned the colour change in water, but as you say could it be that sometimes (especially with no colour change) that it just could be a really clogged up pipe with mud. Or is it more of a case of you start jetting and nothing shifts like a standard drain and that is how you can tell, or does just feel/respond different?
colour change of water, if the jet is stopping or you are pulling back stone, sometimes if it is in grass and dry weather you can see it as where the soakaway is it is more green, if a drain isn't running toward any manholes or the rest of the drainage it can be a good indication, a lot of storm water goes to soakaways these days, if you jet it and its slow to run away and if you can't clear it with no obvious outfall the best guess its a soak away. However I have known a lot of drainage engineers use saying it's a soakaway to get out of a job they can't clear.
