The Jewel Grande is ideally located within 15 to 20 minutes from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay and it has something that will wow everyone in the family. There are 217 apartment style suites ranging from junior suites, to three bedroom villas and three bedroom penthouse suites. The rooms range in size from 806 sq ft to 4,397 sq ft which means this resort is great for couples, friends and multi-generational families/groups. In total there are 14 different room categories and all rooms that are two bedrooms and above include butler service.
I love that Jewel Grande offers unlimited access to all restaurants including their five a la carte restaurants. In total there are eight (8) dining venues serving everything from Jamaican, Mexican, seafood, steak and authentic Asian fusion. The three bars all serve top shelf liquors and they even have a café and juice bar when you're looking for something different. The resorts two pools are both oceanfront and one features a swim up bar area. The beach and pool areas do have butler service which means you don't have to lift a finger or foot to get your next beverage or snack.

Because the beach was so warm and refreshing the bakery was so nice and good the restaurants were amazing the waitress and cook were so nice

I see lots of stairs on the property. Do you happen to know if there were alternate pathways for scooters or anyone with mobility issues? I want to bring my in laws to Jamaica but concerned they won’t be able to get around if the property has too many stairs. They can walk but not for long distances. And steps is a bit of a challenge if too many.

Hi @lewilson1010 accessibility is always a great question. Thank you for watching and for asking such an important question. There would be elevators in all the main buildings that would take you to your room or suite. Unfortunately, in the short period of time that I was visiting the resort I did not take notice of any elevators that would take you from the lobby level to the pool area, although, I'd find it hard to believe a resort of this quality not having them but I cannot confirm nor deny. There are steps that take you to the beach. There is no ramp so you'd have to be able to navigate those stairs to enjoy the beautiful beach area. Hi @AleaSummers thanks for stopping by the channel, for watching and for the great question about the restaurants at Jewel Grande. Yes, there is a hibachi/teppanyaki restaurants. You'll see it at the 2:38 mark for the video. It is called Pierside and is perhaps once of the nicest settings for a restaurant that I've ever seen. Are you considering a vacation at this resort?
