So pretty! I wish more clients would venture out and try different designs. In my area it’s pretty traditional and once in a while I can get someone to try different. I even offer for free but people can be so stuck in their way.
I have about an 1/8th of an inch toenail on both big toes. It grows that far and then won't attach above it due to fungal stuff years ago. I have been going and having a nail put on both toes every 4 or 5 weeks and it is just starting to be a hassle. I'm wanting to do just see if I can do it myself. What is the easiest way? You make it all look so easy! I just want ease of making it be smooth!!
I watched an older video about using sally hansen instadri in clear as a peel off base for gel. I am a licensed cosmetologist, and have tried everything to grow nails. I can grow with gel, but removal ia damaging. I use orly bodyguard, but it is not hard enough for me to grow length. Would the SH instadri work for a harder gel like orly bodybuilder( or do you recommend anything else). thanks so much!!
First of all you should not be removing that gel , you should be filling it. Even a soft gel is fillable. When it grows out, you fill it . Fill it every 2 to 3 weeks. Your nails will be sure to grow. If you are over filing or soaking off every two weeks and then putting on a new gel overlay on your nails ….. they will never grow , don’t do that. You are weakening your nails . I just suggest that you stick with the soft gel and you Fill it every 2 to 3 weeks depending on your growth . You could also switch to Madame Glams soak off builder in a bottle in clear. It’s thicker . You will need a base and topcoat with that , as well. But it’s worth it. You can use my coupon code Denise30 … I don’t make anything off of that either .
