I just made this ring I double the two wires at the sides when wrapping around the mandrel and made swirl at both sides of the stone. I am in love thith this tutorial thankyou so much!!!
Tania, you totally blow my mind!!!. This project is amazing, I love love love these rings. They are each so different, organic, and really, they are easy to make. Who else could have come up with a way to make these very fun rings. These can be worn with anything!!!. Thank you lovely lady. All our love. 🙏🏼❤️
Oooooh girl.!!!!! I’m loving this so much. I’m trying the square one and I have had this rectangle kyanite I have been working on for months and I just keep taking it apart. I’m going to try the oval stone 1st. Then see how the rectangle goes. BTW THANK YOU FOR THAT REVAMPED LINK VIDEO LAST WEEK I LOVE YA FOR IT!!! 4000+ subscribers. So proud of you Copper wire Queen. Being absolutely serious, when I can’t get out of bed some weeks, Tanya Tuesdays always works for me. So in a sense your my once a week medical miracle. Not enough Thank you's in the world. So you see how important you are to me and all of your subscribers.
I guess I am Copper wire Queen:):):) I have to tell u, I grow up in Ukraine… And my favorite book was about Queen of Copper Mountain… I just recently reread that - and was amazed:):):) sometime ur imagination can come true 😂😂😂😂
@@4girlsjewelry omgosh, that is too funny!!!!!. I had some time to myself last night and balled up some wire, and grabbed some stones so I could get to work as soon as I could. I could barely sleep I was so excited!. I will have to check out that book, hope you don't mind???!!!. Be well Tanya
I am just thrilled! This is exactly what I have hoped someone would teach me how to make! So far I have only seen rings that look like a bead on a wire with a couple of wraps around the wire on each side of the stone, and they were very simple & uninteresting! But you have made each one into (What looks Like to me an art nouveau masterpiece!!! I love the way they are so free and artsy! Also, I think your English is outstanding & I just cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate your making this video, as I feel like can soar now! ( Very much like I used to feel when I did stunt Flying!) You are just wonderful! Thank you, thank you, thank you! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😇 Elisabeth Perdue Portland,Oregon.
Thank you for sharing and teaching us all your beautiful style of wirework. The rings are fantastic but the pendant was just wow! Tuesday is now my favorite day of the week.
Hi Tanya I love your tutorials. I finally got up the nerve to move from using a small butane torch to a mapps torch!!! What a difference! Turns out my husband had a torch head and canister of gas in the garage. I love these rings, it is true people at the shows I have done look for original pieces! Thank you!
I love powerful torch… I try to inspire u to create ur own VERY unique jewelry, because I’m 100% sure that all of us have that unique touch that makes them one of a kind… and completely yours
If I only learn to make one ring properly, this is it. I wish I could show you the 2 I made tonight. 😂 I think I’m starting to get the process but I don’t like the way my shank wires cross. Very bulky. I’m going to try the next one with 18ga instead of 16. I am wondering how you started with wire. Did you learn the traditional methods from a book and then push the boundaries?
Hi Gals!! I would just like to point out that you must try NOT to get your bead hot while torching,DA's you will surely shatter a glass or stone if you quench/ dip the whole into the water! Yikes!! Or carefully just dip the ball or let cool... As ALWAYS, TANYAs incredible creations RULE!!👍👍😊🙋♀️💖
Hi I like your technique. I noticed you wrapped your bead using heringbone technique. You should mention it so people will know that it is actually a wire wrap technique. Just a tip. Your work is beautiful.
I thought wire wrappers know already Thank You for ur tip, sometimes I don’t mention stuff, I just share what I create… I like to have my videos short ♥️
Thank you so much. It's great to see you post so often! I love your content, Tanya and it's also heartening to see such a talented person being so generous with their process.
I looked on your website for care instructions but didn't find any. Is there a finish to prevent tarnish or turning the client's fingers green? What do you recommend? Very lovely pieces. Thanks.
I used ProtectaClear from Everbrite on all of my jewelry. You can order from their website and use on any jewelry you already have or refinish them in future ❤️ hope this helps
Hi Tanya! Hope you're doing well. I look forward to Tuesdays just to see your creations! And oh boy you have my attention the moment you said rings! These are gorgeous 😍 I love your designs! Thank you dear for sharing your art with us all! 🦋🦋🦋
You make, jewelry making so much fun!!!I love the randomness of your designs, no 2 are alike, now I can't wait to try this, thank you for your inspiration, can't wait till next tuesday❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍
These rings are fabulous! And I love the organic approach that you take with them. I do have a question regarding the torch use: can the torch be used on regular craft type wire? And, what are these torches called ? Thank you for sharing 🇦🇺🥰
I love this project so much! Any tips on beading up the copper on the bead wire with out damaging the stone? I was having a hard time getting the copper to melt on the second side and my stone got all cloudy and lost its pretty light blue coloring.
I love your style! Its beautifully designed. Thank you for sharing your talent! What is the red handle pliers that you use. It looks like a good one to use for thicker wires.
Had one question the copper wire if you burn it does it still make the finger change colors just for my own self didn't know how that works thanks so much again 💜
Great rings. I am in need of some new ones as I have lost a lot of weight and my rings are to big now, LOL! I am assuming you are starting a size larger then you want the finished ring, is this right? Thank you.
Amazing!!!! Your mouth dropping!!! This is the best ring video I’ve ever seen. Thanks so much for all your videos. You explain everything so well and have the most fantastic ideas!!!
Hello Tanya, I have been visiting family about 1,500 miles from home about 2 weeks now. I did not bring any tools or supplies with me to make or to work on any projects and I miss creating and working with the wire and stones. Must be like being in a type of rehab where you are not allowed to do what you really want to! When I get home, I want to make some rings with thin long drilled crystals and fluorite and OOH so many other stone. These are truly wonderful. Thank you, again. I the beginning, do you wrap your ring wires at the ring size that you want as the finished size?
Thank You! U are very, very welcome!!!! I just need to make more rings for my next art show this coming weekend in Indiana!!!! And decided to film them:):):)
It blew my mind when you said you cut a ring to make the pendant. I just found your channel a couple hours ago and you are amazing, I've been watching wire videos for a while now and after watching you I think I'm going to give it a try, you make it look so fun!!!
@@4girlsjewelry OMG..! Of course keep going!!! I was looking for something new to do, I fell in love with goldsmith's art - I'm Italian and I live near one of the most famous goldsmith schools, Bassano, close to Padua - but I'm too old for school! In the real life I'm a Chef and I love anything you can do with your hands: carpentry, leather and so on. Wire wrapping is a new discovery and a very good compromise to start and make something! something! So: don't stop! I love your tutorial! You are also a very good teacher: you don't speak too much and what you say is nice and clear. Sharing is the best way to ensure that something remains of us over time!🙏
I amde a mess of it and not in a good way. I had a lot of gapping and it was very loose, so I wove in a bunch of embellishments and it turned out pretty good! I'll make more.
Beautiful rings!! They look contemporary - LOVE, LOVE that look! That's why I love your jewerly- is not too ornate.❤️ I love using the torch now- with careful respect, of course. I'm so glad to have learned it, finally! Growth in my skills has skyrocketed because of your tutorials. I feel like I'm forever learning now- no boredom here!! 🥰👏
Well, I have got the super dooper bernzomatic map torch and it does work on craft wire. Next question: what do you use to polish the wire? I have tried solution of vinegar and salt and that works well (neutralised with a separate solution bicarbonate and water post dip). I soooo love your work and that each piece is different! Thank you for teaching us all !
I think it was always in me:) but i do work with wires now for 5+ years… so there is LOTS of practice… what truly helps- i can visualize my project in advance… not always i create what i visualize- but… i love it anyway 😂
HI TAYNA, i JUUST MADE ONE OF YOUR RINGS. i USED 16G WIRE, VERY DIFFICULT FOR MY arthritic hands. It came out very nice, but I will try 18g next time.(in the morning!).Thank you for all your unique ideas. I also made 3 of your necklaces with all of the different links. love them!
Saving money to by a torch but it's hard because I don't have a job, I'm both ill and handicapped 😅 But one day maybe someone will purchase my jewelry so I can get me a torch 🙂👍 Thank you so much for showing these rings! I love them! Really cool looking 💚🧡💙
I love making "messy" rings. And yours are so gorgeous! You have given me great ideas. I love the organic look from torching the ends. Do you have a torching tutorial?
Love love love these rings! First one I did without any torch. It’s beautiful! Today I have my torch out and getting the bead wires balled. Ready to try several different types of beads. Question do you use the spray protectaclear or do you dip it? Thank you so much for sharing! I will share!
Very pretty. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful art . You made it so simple to learn and so beautiful . One only thing is that in sort of afraid to use torche., Which gives that lovely ball look . ❤️
Me again, after reading the instructions for protective clear, anything with the patina is supposed to be white with a solvent first. Do you do that? I did coat some of my copper patina jewellery today and it seems OK. If you do use the solvent, what do you use? Thank you Tania!!
Thank you Tanya. You know the last one you were playing with would look great with the smaller double ball ended wires you used on the tree of life. I think I may try that. Cut the ring in half? Well, I never ... but I'm happy you did. Wow, the sky is the limit.
Here is a crazy idea!! Please, please travel the country, especially Oregon, where coincidentally I live and teach live workshops. You are such an incredible artist. Thanks so much for your generosity in posting how-tos, even though I am not sure my rings or pendants will ever look like any of yours.
