How much money is Van Jones getting for this new fangled personality. He used to be for fighting the oppressed. How much did it take to flip the script? Can we all be this easily bought?
Shame on you BLM. That is what the problem is with BLM!!! During George Floyd murder protests and others, everyone from all over the world protested against George Floyd murder and supported BLM. ****But BLM NEVER supported others groups eg, women, life freedom protest and # Mahsa murder in Iran, Israelis genocide murdering 16,000 Palestinians children in Palestine, LGBT, etc. ** BLM just want the masters in the White House and congress are happy to get their support for their OWN benefit and BLM does NOT care about other oppressed group and it is pathetic. Shame on you.
Idk. Delusional, narcissists with millions of dollars, seem to get an unfair amount of quality sleep in this world. Lack of mental encumbrances and whatnot.
Only if you are well enough versed in the ordinances and legalities of war , and not because someone else said it is a crime . If you are unable to say that you were not influenced by media propaganda etc., then you are Anti Jewish and a " racist " - another word that has lost its meaning through incorrect usage ( Anti Semite actually refers to all ethnicities in that part of the world) .

My daughter happens to be at her friend this shabbat in Teaneck, coincidentally, and I told her to call after shabbat, so I know all is well! The explanation of the Keffiya is not complete without the mention of Yassir Arafat! It was his trademark uniform! And since you want to go tit for tat, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the new website that has been put up with the permission of the hostages families -- they thought long and hard about whether or not they should, and decided their impact had more value and held more weight. And they were right. I even had to turn it off. It is so powerful. And I no longer want to have any discussion about this war unless they HAVE SEEN IT! It is HORRIFIC!! It makes me understand, perhaps, how the Amis (the Americans) felt when they liberated the camps. Those first troops those first days. They were horrified,as we all now know. One can not expect to ever see anything like it. To imagine that people can do that to someone - and their dogs yet! I lived with a German family in 10th grade on an exchange program, and they would tell me stories about how when the Americans first rolled thru and how white the wonder bread in the soldiers very big, black hand was! That made an impression on me. I also want apologies from all those who reported that there was no SA on that awful day! AFTER they watch the films. ALL OF THEM!! And read the Daily Mail today! The dead deserve at least that! NOT these snarky comments about how they are horrible "Zionists." Just for thinking that a Jew can claim self-determination on their incestral homeland! IN EFRAT, NO LESS!! OH, please!! 😂😂😂
1. We MUST clarify that Zionists are not Jews. Judaism is a religion. Zionists do not follow the Torah (obviously), so they are not Jews. 2. Judaism is not an ethnic group or a nationality. Period. There are Jews from every ethnicity and DNA in the rainbow. 3. The word Semite refers to people who originate from the middle east. Most Israelis are from European descent. 4. Real Jews need to continue to stand up and speak out against the (NAZI) Zionists. Thank you both for speaking out.
It’s extremely frustrating when some people conflate Judaism with zionism. I’ve seen it in numerous comments’ sections from mainly zionists, neo-nazis and otherwise extremely ignorant people. I’m so tired of other people telling me what I think solely based on my being Jewish and I’m sure that many Jews share my exasperation with this.
@@mattnewhouse1781 Are you seriously trying to say that all Palestinians are Nazis? You realize the people that sided with the Nazis are dead now, right? Otherwise, we could find people in every single country of multiple different faiths that had ancestors that sided with the Nazis, and what are we supposed to do then? Assume they are in support of nazism? Justify all the tens of thousands of deaths, even those of children? What’s the point of your comment, what are you trying to say here, please clarify your point.

This guy (Jones) either really genuinely ignorant or on purpose trying to spread out some new lies about Palestine/arabs. As many reasonable people know around the world keffiyah it is not only common for mean wear in Palestine 🇵🇸. It is common men head wear in all Arab nations. Take a look at what most Iraqi men wear Keffiyah , take a look at Kuwaiti’s, take a look at Emirates, take a look at Saudi Arabia, Take a look at jordan take, a look at Syria / Europe and so on hmmm 🤔
Mr. Siegel is a beautiful person. It is important to note that jews & Muslims lived together side by side as brothers & sisters since the time of the crusades when in fact Muslims were the protectors of the Jewish population in Jerusalem. This zionazi European colonization & ideology was what changed everything ... brits again.
I remember van Jones when his office at the Ella Baker Center was just a block away from where I worked in Oakland. He has become a poster boy revealing how power and influence materially determines one's thinking. . . , turned upside down on its head, distorting everything from the actual meaning of 'anti-semitism' to the Palestinian keffiyeh, bizarrely comparing a symbol of freedom and resistance to the "Confederate flag". . . , only goes to prove the truth and power of 'historical materialism' to pollute one's thinking.
What Jones said is downright sinister.. He is an educated man who clearly knows what the nazi flag represents. He also fully understands that the Palestinian people have been viciously oppressed for almost a century. So to put the keffiyeh in the same category as the nazi flag is to be both intellectually dishonest and downright sinister..
I have been a political junkie all my life. I am so turned off by politics and the media that I did not even watch the debate. Many of us understand the sentiment that drove the young man to burn himself but dont have his courage. This is a nasty, irredeemable hell and history supports that view. Let the demons keep it if they want it so badly.
I really try hard to avoid commenting on this subject matter... but I have nothing other than admiration for "self hating jews"... Good people are good people irrespective of race , creed or colour. So thank you for being good people..
This large Jewish contingent of antizipnists Is a major difference in our movement as compared to previously, and it has served to multiply our effectiveness many times over, to the point victory over this evil seems closer than ever. It's also a relief to see such an inspiring manifestation of a truth we've known for so long: Zionism is _not_ Judaism!
It was great to see Rich here. A long time ago when I was active on Facebook (no longer am), somehow we followed each other, and we always griped about how we were restricted because we were pro-Palestine. I told him he should come over to Twitter as it was not as bad. At the time I don’t think he did. Then I lost track of him. I think I’ve just found him on XTwitter, so I’m following him there now. But he’s not very active (shame). His last post was at the end of 2013. He says: I don’t get Twitter. Maybe Katie can talk him into getting more active, and maybe even show him the ropes. That would be great.
"From the river to the sea" - the wording was formerly in the Hamas charter when that organisation was founded in 1988. But in 1977 - 11 years earlier - the Israeli Likud party (i.e Netanyahu's party) used virtually the same words - "from the sea to the Jordan (river) there shall be only Jewish sovereignty" - in its initial founding manifesto. (Reference - the jewishvirtualibrary - check it out, then USE it in answer to Zionist smears. )
The Kefyie was worn by palestinians and arabs before israel existed. We have images from 1900 of Palestinians in Jerusalem and Haifa and Yaffa (modern day Tel Aviv) in Palestine wearing Kefyia.
Van Jones, take breathe you have taken money which you should have refused. That act has colored your opinions. How can you speak to this matter. Hey shut up!
@@nolitetebastardescarborund9761 You never know how people will bitch about the form instead of the substance. Hence the serfdom analogy instead of the obvious one...
The term "Anti-Semitic" is as meaningless as the term "Racist". Both terms are only used by those who refuse to dialogue over serious cultural and political issues, and simply want to reject and silence, those who have opposing opinions. Both terms are interchangeable in making a person who holds a dissenting opinion a "non-person". The Confederate Flag is not "Racist", save for those who have been told to be offended by it. Just like the Kiffiyeh. The only ones offended by the Kiffiyeh are those who have been told to be offended by it.
The confederate flag was used by people who fought their own people for the right to hold slaves. Those who wear keffiyeh has never enslaved anyone. Very bad comparison.
Kati thank you for your excellent programs, what I like to bring to your attention that the word SEMITE OR SEMITIC APPLIES TO ALL MIDDLE EASTERN PEOPLE, I THINK EXCEPT THE PERSIANS. IT’S THE RACE OF THOSE PEOPLE. IT DOESNT MEAN JEWISH PEOPLE ONLY. TO BE ANTI SEMITE MEANS ANTI MILLIONS OF PEOPLE FROM MIDDLE EAST.
van jones will always be the pogr°m guy to me now. this guy used that word for an encounter (three times in one apeech segment of a minute or two), whose level of violence arguably does not meet the level of a fight, and certainly not of a brawl. that was a SCUFFLE. news reports state either NO INJURIES or ONE MINOR INJURY! I especially h8 this because the term p°gr°m actually has use cases to which it is not applied and less clear and less severe terms are used instead. the big standout event by way of its size and its recency is the 1921 tulsa p°grom. the old euphemism was "race riot" (very 'protest turns violent' after police attack). the current euphemism is "race ma°°acre". why is that a euphemism? because it does not identify the intent, and in tulsa absolute success, of ethn°c cl°°nsing. a p°gr°m is a mob attack against a segregated neighbourhood with the intent of fully removing that community and preventing its return (good effort still counts if there are is some force around that's relatively likely to mostly prevent this goal, with one typical outcome also being that the community shrinks more gradually afterwards due to the demonstrated danger). because the prevention of the community's return is achieved by destroying homes, the weapon symbolising the p°grom is the torch, and that is the reason why n°z°s march with torches. the term is rarely used for an event outside of a city or suburb, but I would be inclined to say that the identifying factors don't directly include a city environment, but rather that perpetrators and victims belong to one broader community with segregated living quarters, but common contact in work, commerce, and leisure. in the US, the other ethnic group besides black americans that was often the target of p°gr°ms were the chinese, amd that's where I would be inclined to include attacks outside of cities, namely in the temporary camps or remote railway towns during early american railway construction. due to the international law definition of gen°°°de actually being kind of d°gsh°t, "p°gr°m" is basically the small end of the range of things to call a g°°°cide (sorry guys, there may have been a g°n°cide all together in bosnia, and I do take issue with lt. col. karrelman's interpretation of "safe", but the definition for the g-word should set a lower limit thatis higher than th 8000 for which karrelman was promoted instead of the definitional copout "in whole or in part", because the word means k°°ling a people). anyways, a p°grom is not a scuffle or a dust-up with 0-1 minor injuries, absolutely regardless of how °°°ish the area is or whoever you want to call the victim. rule of thumb: no incendiary weapon, no p°gr°m. 1985 move bombing? probably a p°gr°m. congratulations america, you had a police p°gr°m in philadelphia in the 80s. before I googled where this was just now, I almost decided to make up a debatable reasonable minimum for a g°n°cide definition, and I was going to use unlisting philly as probably a good minimum because its reputation as the american city to very very hypothetically maybe do that to really does precede it. it's nice to have your prejudices confirmed like that sometimes. 🙂↔️
OMG! I had no idea that the prominent African-American opinion maker who equated a kaffeyeh with a confederate flag was Van Jones! I’ve had a kaffeyeh as a scarf since 1980. I also live in the neighborhood that Van Jones says are very obvious Jewish neighborhoods. I don’t know what he means by that since Sherman Oaks and Belair and Beverly Hills might all be considered “Jewish neighborhoods“. Yes, there are Israeli flags all over the place in those neighborhoods, and corners taken up with loud megaphones, shouting their support for Israel. That, to me, is the equivalent of confederates and racists, spewing their venom from every corner. But I had no idea that Van Jones was that far gone. I will never quote him again in any of my environmental classes, and I will delete all of his environmental videos since I now know his true colors.
The media doesn't make any references to israeli destruction forces using Palestinian children as human shields for a decade, the last time was the young boy tied to the bonnet of a jeep, which made front page on the former left-wing newspaper The Daily Mirror, if I recall correctly...
Is it a coincidence that amazon's bezos and the owner of youtube, google, have a $1.2 billion deal with the occupiers for Project Nimbus, and they are complicit in genocide?
Now tell us about the foreign prescence and influence (with their foreign interests) over the uk and us governments ie the zionist and israel lobby's please, or are you selective and subjective or even concerned about upsetting your paymasters
Unfortunately the occupation, the killing the genocide the land theft has been going on and on and on....your sudden "enlightenment" can't restore that back
Being a mirror to your own people and culture’s decades of atrocities. Is an unenviable position to say the least. Nobody wants to be forced to see how nearly everything great in their lives. Has come from pure evil.
I wonder who paid Van Jones to make that statement. I get his point that people will see that scraf and become agitated, but that scraf is not a symbol of terrorism unlike the confederate flag. For him to attempt to make that connection either speaks to his lack of understanding of the situation and cultures involved or to his disingenuous nature. Many of us misspeak and have to be educated later, but for him to out himself out there as an informed person and make such a comment as a black American is beyond disappointing.
Your speaker said Zionism is drawing political leaders into support for Zionism. These leaders are front and centre and marching in of their own free will.
And this guy gets to tell Jews at these protests how to not offend Jews. Establishment approved Jews. So gentiles get to tell Jews how to be better Jews to stop antisemitism. If you shill as hard as he does, that makes sense.
