Although I am a proud JEW , unfortunately I do not speak either Yiddish or Hebrew, although my parents were fluent in Yiddish as first generation generation born American from Russian parents. Therefore unfortunately I could not fully appreciate the concert. If we as a people are striving to be inclusive & recognized for our accomplishments in the AMERICAN DREAM, we MUST find a way to include those who do not necessarily speak the language or who did not necessarily "fit in" with the traditional way of celebrating our heritage, rather than ignoring those who may NOT necessarily subscribe to all the traditions.
