Romans 11 explain very well what you said and why

Notice the woman's child is caught up to gods throne, I see that as the completion of the gentile church and then it's the 144000 doing another harvest and satan wars against the rest of her children. For the record, Jeff, a Jew is one born of a Jewish mother or having converted according to the method established. Having said that, a Jew who embraces Christianity cuts him/herself off from the Jewish people and can have nothing more to do with them until they renounce this false belief. So it is true they retain their Jewish ancestry but not their connection to the Jewish people, and the community is duty bound to treat them as though they are no longer Jewish.

Also to agree with you, the way I understand One in Hebrew from Genesis 2:24 that describes a marriage is used of Elohim in the Shema. I'm studying the Tanakh looking at all the instances of plurality describing Elohim . Isaiah 48:12-16 is the best example but also Isaiah 41:1-4 and 44:6. The ancients understood this and it seems to have been lost.
