The Jews expected the Messiah to destroy their enemies. That’s a main reason why they rejected Jesus. They wanted a conquering messiah, not what Jesus taught. The Pharisees wanted power and Jesus made them obsolete.

They all skip Isaiah 53 for one reason, and one reason ONLY: to deny Jesus being messiah.

The Israelites received 3500 years of consistent revelation up to and until at least seventy years before Jesus. But nothing since? Why?

Point blank, if Jesus/Jeshua isn't the Messiah, then no one could ever be. But ask yourself, if Jesus/Jeshua isn't the Messiah, then who is? This is where the Anti-Christ comes to the "rescue," where the world rejects the true Messiah and embraces a counterfeit.

The caller sounded as though he is searching. He wasn't messing with Sam. Genuinely wanting to know. I'm going to pray for him that he seeks until he finds Jesus. Everyone who truly searches WILL find the truth. It's not our Father's will than ANY should perish.

Isiah 9 and 53 are all clear which does not need clarification or explanation. Jews must admit about Jesus Christ that he came, was crucified, rose and sitting at the right side of his Father.

Shalom Sam Great video. Another thing I wanted to bring up to you in Zechariah 12:10 is the Hebtrew word et. It's a small word but very powerful because it's made up of the alef and the tav. Which is the first and the last. In the Tanakh we know Adonai is the first and the last. The scripture actually reads in Hebrew "Then they will look om me (et) whom they pierced.." That's a very powerful statement.

This is why Catholic liturgies always include a reading from the Old Testament and New Testament. The old testament readings are chosen to emphasize the prophecy and the New Testament reading follows to emphasize fulfillment of the prophecies.

400 years in Egypt. As a people. 70 years in Babylon. As a people. 1800+ years scattered across the world, not as a people. What did the Jews do that caused such an extended punishment? Ask yourself. Ask your rabbi. Do the righteous flee from the truth? There are many verses the rabbis skip past. When reading the scripture. Many of the prophets talk about the Messiah. Are those prophets who told you when the Messiah was coming. Who talked about the suffering Messiah. Are they to be considered false prophets? Should their books get removed. Seek Truth!

Another verse they use to deny Jesus as Messiah is from deut 24:16 which says father shall not be put to death for the sins of the son nor the son put to death for the sins of the father. They are saying that the messiah will not die for forgiveness of sin based from their interpretation of this verse please explain?

The word Messiah has root meaning "parable" and sufix meaning "Lord" what did Jesus do, speak in Parable! The world knows Jesus is know as the lord of parables!
