I have listened to several of these accounts of survival and am always amazed at the courage it must take to go back in time and tell of the horrors that they experienced. I appreciate Ida's honesty. A remarkable woman and a beautiful family. The interviewer should have bowed out if she could not stop coughing and let someone else take over. It was very annoying to listen to her cough loudly into the microphone while this dear lady was baring her soul.

This wonderful lady shares an incredibly detailed testimony! But the unfortunate choice of interviewer is amplified by imbalanced audio quality, which becomes more and more distracting during the video. What a shame.

All the negative comments about the interviewers coughing when a) it really isn't that bad or extensive b) the interviewer is a volunteer- it isn't a job where someone else can just step in c) it was often hard to get the survivors to do these interviews due to trauma, reluctance to revisit the past etc , so when someone agreed to do one, they didn't want to reschedule just because the interviewer had a slight cough plus while she appears in good health this lady is elderly and her story is important, rescheduling is a gamble d) the volunteer is Jewish herself, likely has relatives that are survivors too , she's not being rude or disrespectful e) the important thing is the testimony. These aren't designed for entertainment. If people are more horrified by the coughing than the story than you don't deserve to listen. Respect the testimony and this wonderful lady's memory rather than moaning about some coughing. Imagine this poor lady's story isn't listened to because of complaints in the comments about some coughing from the interviewer.

I so wish they got someone else to do the interview the coughing and clearing her throat was so distracting.Ida amazing Lady deserved to tell her story without all the noise interruptions.

I love watching these lovely women telling their stories, breaks my heart that they went through such horrors. I especially enjoy their accents if they were German or Polish Jews before the war.
