if we're talking folks who immigrated legally, settled down and naturalized without any issues, no. If we're talking migrants who get to roam free whilst they await being deported, skim the system or people awaiting the decision on their asylum who feel like they owe the country nothing and have no will or wishes to conform, yes. Only further tarnishes the image of law abiding, legal immigrants and residents who are coming here through the proper channels and respecting the laws of the land.

@@JessiContingenC ikr! My brother's wife is a Filipina who immigrated here legally and I've gotten to know a lot more about their culture and other Filipino communities here in England. A lot of them are working in the medical field like nursing or caring, looking after us and the older generation. They also seem grateful to work and live here, always trying to get me to come of for karaoke XD

@@StevenGeeson-kt6lb yeah man immigration usually weeds out people who don’t have the resources or dedication to settle into a country they want to emigrate to. I’m not against legal immigration nor am I against refugees as long as they act accordingly and eventually are given legal asylum status or are denied and kicked out. I live in a town with a small immigrant population and I’ve worked with many while I held a job and a lot are hard workers and are happy to be here. immigrants and refugees who go through the long process of becoming residents or citizens or what not usually have the will to conform and to become pretty good people who also bring their own spices of life and culture along with them. Immigration in Canada is a hot topic and I’ve also seen the bad side of it too since some places here have issues with visa skimmers, student visa scams (fake colleges and useless diploma mills to get citizenship from) and all that so it’s only more upsetting when people start discriminating against all immigrants due to the faults of the unbecoming ones.
