I am from China, and your leaders have too many concerns about purchasing fighters. It is obviously unrealistic to want a second-hand F16. Korean F50? Indian splendor? Your leaders should have taken a fancy to JF17, but the budget is not much, and they want to buy the J17 production line. Obviously, China agrees, but Pakistan will not agree. The Pakistani Air Force has invested more than 30 years of time and money in this project. The Pakistani Air Force It is a big investor, they will not agree.

As this will give the Argentine AF an advanced fighter that meets all its operational needs, and cheaper when compared to anything else that Argentina is considering.

@Tracking Phoenix U r right the F16 block 70-72 r superior to JF17s pretty much in all respects but the Thunder is an excellent light weight multi role 4+ gen fighter non the less. F16s r in medium weight category n these r the most produced n used fighter aircraft with more Air Forces around the globe than any other is proof n testimony to it's efficacy !!

Most of countries has f16 but american not allowed them to get latest tec on f16.where as Thunder is available with all cutting edge technologies AESA radar long range BVR messiles and other 4.5 generation technology.

Fun facts about JF17 - 1) Dubai 2021, LIMA 2019, Bahrain 2016. Each time the Tejas participated in an air show, the Pakistani team cancelled their JF17 participation, ceded participation fee and ran away 2) The Chinese do not use it and only export to poor countries 3) The all metal airframe has poor manufacturing quality resulting in an availability of approx 40% for Pakistan Air Force 4) Even after buying 150 of jf17 the PAF still relies mainly on the American f16 and has also started buying Chinese J10 fighter aircrafts 5) JF17 Block 1 and 2 do not have AESA radar, no in flight refueling, only two dimensional fly by wire, all metal body causing high weight, low thurst weight ratio, older electronics and only Chinese weapons to fire 6) The newer block 3 jf17 variant has a cheaper air cooled AESA radar unable to operate at max power and hence lower range. Further, block 3 retains the same Russian rd93 based engines, uses cheaper air cooled AESA radar and same metal body and build quality

The jeff was literally made to be a cheap export fighter. It was never made for china. It was made to be a replacement for PAF's A5C's and F7P's. It designed to supplement the f16, not replace it. It was never meant to be an f16 replacement. First 50 or so JF17's had the radar from the J10, it has IRST, HMS and a pretty good MWS

They are far better than block 1 & 2 thunder , Our Air Craft has beaten your teja in every field , it operational from 2012 , and your samosa 😂 not even fully operational in all fields , shut your mouth and get lost...... Pakistan have Developed its own defence industry like Texila Pakistan also manufacturing its tanks in amount of thousands, and what your industry have done , not even able to make a new variant of Insase rifle 😂 , manufactured a millitary tank in 30 years and when it comes in field it was failed due to heavy wieght and so much large size 😂😂😅😅

@@poyrazzz595 the JF17 is a formidable 4.5 gen fighter jet. It has modern systems and great capabilities. Pakistan developed the JF17 to replace its old mirage/j7 jets… not to make an expensive fifth generation advanced. We are working on a 5th gen too (PFX) but this one is jet supposed to modernise our airforce but replacing old 3/4 gen jets. Nigeria, Myanmmar, Iraq, and Azerbaijan have all bought the JF17 for the same reason…
