Nice scene. Jack and Ed had first worked together on Broadway in 1960, so there was history with these two.

Yeah, well that and him messing around inside Ed Asner's flies would breed a certain level of interpersonal familiarity I guess.

I like how they got all these mainstream actors to play these shadowy figures that were involved in the jfk assassination

That'll teach you to go messing around inside Ed Asner's flies, he doesn't like people who play for the 'other' team 🤣🤣🤣

Just shows you how a film can fool you when it pretends to be factual. Despite what Oliver Stone says, there's no real evidence that Guy Banister even knew Oswald. Jack Martin (the Jack Lemmon character) told Jim Garrison that he saw Oswald in Banister's office in the Newman Building. But Jack Martin was not only a drunkard, but also a well-known pathological liar. On the night of November 22, 1963, Jack Martin was pistol-whipped by Guy Banister -- because Banister discovered that Martin had been using the office phone to make long-distance calls (which were expensive back then) to his bookies in New York City. Banister never knew Oswald. It was all in Martin's head, made up after the fact. And Jim Garrison bought into it, and Oliver Stone repeated the lie!

@@LordJagd doesn’t matter really. But Oliver used a lot of speculation and conjecture and a Hollywood pen for this film. Garrison was thoroughly disproven on so many live tv shows back in the 60’s through the 70’s. Look them up.

544 Camp St. Was stamped on the leaflets Oswald was distributing. The building was the same although Banister had his address on Lafayette st. just around the corner. Of course he knew Oswald.

What?!? No way. There was a reason Jack continued to work until the day he died. Ed was lucky to get this bit part. He scraped for work. He got the part because he was a card carrying leftist
