She helped me IMMENSELY when I was totally alone, with my baby son, & had SEVERE postpartum depression & anxiety, absolutely nobody to turn to, & also, CPTSD, which, at the time, I was unaware of. This was also what was the catalyst for my second 'awakening' & holy shit, to try to seperate postpartum & awakening was not easy. I found her music that summer (2019) & yeah...she had a huge role in getting my son & myself through that darkness. I was able to reconnect with my intuition & know what was happening due to awakening & what was happening because I was nearing postpartum psychosis. I didn't trust doctors cuz i live in MN (so theee hospital of all hospitals) had nearly killed my lil dude, twice, in the first week of his life because they dismissed my concerns & it took me going psycho on them (i was conscious of what I was doing & it was calculated to get them to f**** do some simple labs they were refusing. It worked, & an hour later we were being admitted to the NICU as "an emergency admission" because unfortunately, I had been right. It wss the scariest time of my life. When my son & I got out of the hospital a week later...i went the next three months totally in survival mode. I will grieve that time I missed out on forever. But thank God, I then happened upon her music. Her energy came through the speakers & filled my home & my soul with juuust enough light & hope to keep on keeping on &&& omg sorry for unloading on you, holy Lawwwd. so sorry... reading your comment made me choke up. im so glad you took the initiative to make those changes & so glad she was a catalyst to it for you as well. Beautiful.

try to observe your thoughts rather than control them & focus on feelings. hope this helps

Myla Clay have you tried to starting off with guided meditations? (But focus on your breath, if your mind wanders just bring it back to your breathing. Counting how long you’re holding your breath and how long you’re exhaling can help this as well.)

Myla Clay that’s okay if your thoughts seem like they’re all over the place, it’s totally normal haha. Like Jaimie said, the key is to acknowledge and be aware of your thoughts. Focusing on my breaths is what I always do to put my mind at ease at the beginning, and then I shift that focus to all of my senses individually, becoming aware of everything around me (the smell of the outside air, birds chirping in the distance, etc.). It’s definitely something you have to practice, and it’s okay if it takes time :)
