I've had similar with a greedy hand, 3 turns later still no lands, then someone wheels. still no land.

i mean i get how opening hand ad naus is worth acting on it but after giving the izzet player 5 cards, i wouldnt have done it w/o a counter on my own end

It's also worth noting that the player that drew a whole new hand thanks to the fish has a "don't feed the fish" mat lol

Honestly these kinds of people are the worst to play with. They get pissy when someone else does "thing" then they do that same "thing".

**SPOILER** There is, but it doesn't really matter because he only used 1 of the treasures for 1 blue AFTER breach had already resolved, and Zack had an LED ready to go.

I am not sure if I see it correctly, but originally Dockside created 4 treasures. In the end Zack has 3 treasures and one untapped land so he would most likely win anyway even without creating treasures. I may be wrong though.

I don't get it. They were good at keeping track of the honor guard UNTIL that very point. For example, Derevi and Valki all skipped their triggers. Even though it didn't make a difference, there are few questions: 1) How is Mike able to keep track of Honor Guard, while the table watched him doing so (for example, no one tried to remind him he had etb triggers), and barely a turn later Zack misses it? 2) Why isn't RYAN who played the honor guard policing the table about ETB triggers. What's the point of playing the card if you either don't read it or don't care if it was working at all?

You are correct I would like to think that it did not affect the game since Zack also had Petal in his yard and he protected his breach with the swat, or if he didn't yet he had plenty of recurring draws with 0 interaction from folger / ryan.

Yeah it should have, but I don't really think it mattered that much in the end. Plus I think he still had the mana needed to win without the dockside.

Zack here, seems like a fine replacement. Honestly any efficient artifact should be fine. HB was one of those cards that if you could cast it, you should be playing it.

His commanders let him recover quite nicely, so I'm guessing he went all in on turn 1 Ad Naseum and then Kraum back-up plan. Probably the main reason Kraum got axed so many times- to prevent Folger from recovering.
