I'm not sure if it was done on purpose but I liked that the music in the first game played a "cling" whenever a treasure was created or used. Congrats on the milestone. Thank you for letting me be part of the experience.

Yeah… I planned it that way. Well not really it’s just coincidence. But I hope to add some sound effects and little on screen animations in the future. Pleasure to have you involved in the project .

Thanks for the game. I love tibalt and no one ever uses him. That said I hate to be a nitpick but when you stole tibalt you didnt get the emblem. So all those cards you exiled would only have been castable by his owner. He is a sneaky git! :)

First, I'd like to thank you for checking out the video. Definitely appreciate it. Yes you are correct I had looked up the ruling while we were playing just to confirm it. This is why I didn’t cast anything from the pile under him. Tibalt really is a very powerful commander. IMO he’s extremely underplayed. Currently there is only 348 lists on EDHRec guess people just haven’t caught on yet.

@@InResponseEDH no worries man. Not sure if the owner of tibalt knew he could use all of those cards. Like the counter and steal things. The new red black commander deck spoiled today is like a feast of good cards for tibalt. It's really going to help out my deck.

@@Goodthrust69 truth be told Matt was a little worried about if we had it correct and didn’t want to possibly ruin the game from being used if we got it wrong. So he stood in the side of caution and held off casting the cards. Luckily I don’t think there was anything game changing in the pile. Oh I’m sure he’s already making room for upgrades as we speak for the new cards coming out lol

great games love it. btw the chubracabra couldnt of been cast to take out the emrakul since the blood moon made that dual land a mountain so he would not have had two black to cast it

Cool games! I was considering building Yennett but didn't want to just win off infinite turns. (table isnt a fan of extra turns and infinite combos) I see now that there is a lot of different stuff you can do with her since the big cards are just so strong.

Thank you for checking out the video. My deck does want to take every turn but when that doesn't pan out casting huge threats every turn is equally effective. im not gonna say much so this does not spoil everyones experiance watching this video but with specifically tibalt, cosmic imposter, when the turn person successfully casts and has tibalt enter the battlefield they get a emblem from tibalt which basically says everything exiled with tibalt you can cast, so if for instance tibalt where to be stolen by something from a spell or an effect that person who successfully casts the tibalt and holds the emblems still keeps that emblem, so if the person that stole tibalt where to use his ablities they can but the exiled cards would be in possestion with the person with the emblem so they cannot cast any cards exiled with tibalt.

Yes. Which is why I never casted a card with Tibalt. Matt aired on the side of caution and didnt play anything from the exiled cards while Tibalt was under my control, since he wasn't sure about the ruling at the time. Luckily there wasn't anything too spectacular in that exile pile that would have changed the outcome. Mostly lands and mana rocks from what I can see. Really appreciate you checking out our content and commenting.

So I'm not sure if y'all knew this at the time but when you stole Tibalt from Matt, you can't play any of the spells from Tibalt's abilities. Tibalt's emblem is an enter the battlefield effect, so Matt would be getting all the value from the cards you exile bc he is the only one that can play them.

Yes, which is why I didn't cast anything from the pile. Matt was not sure until we confirmed it after the game. Which is also why he was hesitant to cast anything from the pile for fear of messing up the game. Luckily there wasn't anything too good in that pile, that could have swung the game in his favor.

Thank you for checking the video out and bringing that to my attention. Checked it and it should be working now. I only have Yennet and Jhoira listed at the moment. I still need to get the list for Tibalt and the scarab god. That's a great choice for a first commander. My first was Atraxa.

We don't really rule zero. We just play what we feel and to have fun. If we did, we would probably end up showing a lot of the same commanders going against one another. This particular episode we did know we were going against a cEDH deck and we were ok with it.

Yep. That’s why I didn’t play any of the cards that had been exiled by him. He’s such a good commander, I go out of my way to steal him from Matt any chance I get, just so he won’t have him.

Great question Cat. Blood moon only modifies lands on the battlefield and not in hand. You can still choose to have it come in tapped or untapped because the choice applies before it actually enters the battlefield. I've had to look it up several times before.

Apparently that's an outdated ruling an the new ruling is that blood moon makes all lands come in with no text besides 'tap to add red'

Not sure how you guys always have mana crypts and sol rings whenever I watch these edh videos everyone has in their opening hands when I play barely ever happens 🤔

Just put 5 of each in your deck like we do. You’re chances go way up 😂 This happens to me often, turn 1 ring into signet or something similar. I can assure you we aren’t fixing our hands like that for any video purposes. All games are played live on stream and you can see us cut one another’s decks after every shuffle.

cEDH gameplay is so stupid, I can't put in into words. Why play a long and exciting game, with setbacks, great top-decks and clever plays, when you could have a 3 turn "game" where nothing played ever matters, except for the one winning* player. Have no fun, and quit too early. Lame as hell

I get ya. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea. I do enjoy watching cEDH gameplay myself, but have not played it because I do like the longer casual game with big splashy spells. Thx for watching and Hope you at least enjoyed the 2nd part of the video
