Jhon Douglas & JungleBoys Playing "Orientas-me uma Renda?" at Camaleão Live Session
Camaleão Live Session can be described in just three words: intimate, warm, empathetic. These sessions were created as a way of showing our studio, our sound and the bands we greatly admire. We saw in our lounge area an opportunity to do something that would bring the audience closer to these artists, so that they could meet their human side.
♫ Jhon Douglas ♫
Is there any Brazilian artist in Portugal creating music with a social-political content as striking as Jhon Douglas? The question remains in the air and we leave you to find the answer in the middle of your repertoire that sails up the Amazon river towards the streets of Lisbon, in search of the peace that the city has less and that the countryside has more. In Jhon Douglas & JungleBoys' songs we don't find that peace, but we do find several reasons to laugh at what worries us. And maybe that's really the lesson this young Brasilian has to teach us, to give ourselves the luxury of laughing about what's out of place to live life in a more peaceful way.
