But they have transcended time, isn't that itself a recognition, perhaps the biggest recognition. Could you pls elaborate what do you mean by recgognize? Also, their hiatus played some role if they ever went to obscurity as you are saying.

I think the year was 1990, I was assisting Sanjoy Chowdhury( Salil Chowdhury Babu r Putro) in recording this Entire Album at Studio Sound On Sound, Behala!!!! It still gives me goosebumps thinking about those 20 days that we were with Gautam Da. What a Time! What a Personality!!!

There have been a lot of unappreciated female backup vocals in many of the "rock band" classics. Remember Clare Torry in "The great gig in the sky", Merry clayton in "Gimme shelter" as well as many other uncredited female vocals in bangla band songs.
I don't think she is on this album. I liked her rendition of "Ghore ferar Gaan", though. Another unique voice; I think it's fair to say she has received due credit in the bengali music circle for her work with Bhoomi and Krosswindz!

Goutam Chattopadhyay agreed with "Gorer Math" to make this album their namesake due to the two most powerful songs from them in this album but the cassette company didn't want to take the risk and instead left it unnamed with credit to Mohiner Ghoraguli as the one that edited and brought out the album! What a colossal mismanagement of brand identity so much so that "Gorer Math" disbanded a few years later! To this day, they aren't given credit for "Tomay Dilam" and "Manush chena day" - two iconic Bangla band songs of all time!
