LBA has been involved in politics. Look at its history. Call for UT itself was supported by LBA. Earlier consensus on 6th schedule was arrived at under the guidance of LBA. But politics of LBA is not party politics (congress, BJP type). Politics of LBA was for betterment of Ladakh, not for any political party. That is a huge difference. In this fragile times, LBA has to fully support the safeguard movement because it is one of the most powerful association of Ladakh. Ladakh is in need of safeguard and LBA can't stay silent here.
@@stanzinn LBA till today only support such movement which is collectively want by all Ladakhi. However these days LBA is indulging into such a issues which is dividing the Buddhist community of Ladakh and weakening LBA. Looking into history UT demand never weaken LBA position and never divided the Buddhist community, however the 6th schedule and Statehood is dividing people into multiple faction. It is unfortunate for Buddhist community of Ladakh
If there is such compulsion, then where is democracy??? 😂😂😂. Don't act like a dictator. The GCMs have right to vote without force and compulsion😂😂😂. The GCMs will vote for whoever they seem fit to run LBA.

LBA president nomination is only for leh pa in and around 7 KMs since from establishment. Rest sham, Nubra, changthang and far flank buddhisht are just to bear the destruction of the Buddhist community. Buddhist monks cannot be eligible because their ancestors were from Tibet. Can anybody explain to me where Ladakh pa came from? Who were our ancestors. If these people have no respect for any Rinpoche then how can we believe that he is an LBA president.
