he's not that kind of player mate.stop over hyping this kid.the thing is you all gonna throw every responsibility at a teenager but when it don't work you blame everyone else for his downfall. Ever wonder why alot of british young talents like mainoo done before they reach thier true potential? Yea things like these.
@@Fc90_1Mainoo is more composed. A talent for sure, but not the same type of player he’s referring to. United doesn’t have a player like Rooney or Park who just leaves it all on the field.
I love the story behind this game. Sir Alex told Park to follow Pirlo everywhere. He knew that without his passes that team will crumble. Brilliant manager
“[Sir Alex] is a man without blemish, but he ruined that purity just for a moment when it came to me,” Pirlo wrote. “A fleeting shabbiness came over the legend that night. At Milan, he unleashed Park Ji-sung to shadow me. “[Park] rushed about at the speed of an electron. He’d fling himself at me, his hands all over my back, trying to intimidate me. “He’d look at the ball and not know what it was for. They’d programmed him to stop me. His devotion to the task was almost touching. Even though he was a famous player, he consented to being used as a guard dog.” From Pirlo’s autobiography 😅
Sound like a bitter lilltel nerd... the fact is park outplayed him with the ball, literally turned pirlo about 10 times yet pirlo couldn't do it once to him.
I think this is berating Park. I watched him first for PSV against the same Milan at the UCL semi finals in 05. He wrecked the Milan defense, especially in the 2nd leg. Milan were just lucky to scrape through via the away goals rule. He stopped attacking so much when he joined Utd.
On a recent episode of stick to football they were talking about how park man marked pirlo so well. This was the game. Absolute legend. Three lung park
