Amazing squid!!! I’m from the United States and we have way smaller ones than that!!! You Gus are so lucky to have such an amazing squid fishery. I absolutely love squid fishing and caught forty six from my boat the other day. Need 7 of mine to make up one of your krakens!😂😂 Great videos mate, keep them coming! Cheers
I stumbled upon your channel while I was trying to learn about squid fishing and I have learned so much ! You have inspired me to get out there and try and to keep fishing! I caught my first squid today because of the techniques you showed. Thanks for the great and informative videos and looking forward to the next one. Ben - Sydney
IMHO, I think you need to include in your intro the outfit (rod, reel, line and rig) that you are using for the day. Also get some sponsored links to the products you use as well if you have them. That will definitely help a lot of beginners like myself.
New to ur chanel, like ur set-up especially the cameras its so good to see you when you talk and working the rods, love the first catch good one, look forward to looking over ur old posts. TY for great content especially beings an Aussie lol
I don't use a float stopper, if you thread the line back through the float twice you can move it at free will and it will stay there. So float-sinker-jig
What rod and reel are you using and what country are you fishing in, i.e. the body of water the squid are in. Squid dont come in shore in my state, NJ USA does not get visited by squid., although I enjoyed squid for the first time last month.but it was not fresh, but frozen.
I am fishing in Victoria, Australia. My rod is a shimano Sephia and the reel is a Shimano stradic. Frozen squid are still fairly good eating but nothing beats the fresh calamari!
Hi nev, good work on the channel.. what size line do u use for squiding n do u use braid with leader or just mono or fluro straight through, cheers, keep up the good vids...
