I'm a 3rd generation Japanese American and I thought there was a bunny in the moon until I started school. I was like what man in the moon! So Probs a lot of people with Asian background also have those types of stories because I know that Korea and China both have them. Honestly, to this day I can see the bunny before I can see the man (during full moon). The bunny is on its hind legs though. Take a look next time. I am more confused because people don't seem to have seen that high kick that Jimin did when he was the center in the crowd dance! I was so shocked and amazed but very few people noticed it.

I saw in an analysis that in old stories of some asian countries, a bunny in the moon means immortality, because the bunnies would be brewing medicine or something like that And the immortality thingie super goes with the whole "Idol"'s theme of celebrating themselves and etc But perhaps there is a double meaning, who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
