The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began - the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

Even tho she progressed the most at the end she was still not a threat, its easier to progress whey you’re down ... Nia was a great kid but she never was a top dancer on the elite team like Clhoe was (until s3), Maddie, Kalani , Brynn, Lilly and Elli (and the s8 kids)

Looking back I feel the need to mention: if you work for something, it’s not free. Melissa even said in season 1 that bc dance is so expensive, she works at the front desk to help pay for it. Christi and Kelly should be thankful that they don’t have to do that

Katelyn LeBlanc exactly that’s the point I’m trying to make: they say that they have to pay and she doesn’t, but Melissa’s working at the front desk is the equivalent of performing a service for Abby that repays her for a private. So they all pay and Christi and Kelly shouldn’t try to make it look like she coasts without paying

Katelyn LeBlanc Melissa pays too. She pays the monthly fee (and abby’s mortgage) on time and then pays with her time to work the front desk. Like her or hate her but Melissa has paid for everything her children received. Kelly... well, Abby said Kelly never paid the monthly fee on time and was behind on payments. That’s one of the reasons I never understood how these mothers can walk into abby’s studio and insist their kids get this and that. Pay your fees!

The only reason they were mad about that is cause privates were hard to get so essentially Melissa was taking spots and not really giving a chance for others. But yes it was kinda annoying they would always bring it up in fights.

@@germanshepherd6677 sorry for the bad grammar but English is not my first language. But it is not unfair because every mom wants to help there kid. It is just like helping your get tutoring when they need it or just want to get head. Just like in dance people want to get head because out in the world it's comparative and not everyone is going to get the job. One thing my mom always told me is that she will always help me and my brother no matter if that getting more or helping us get ahead in school. Some parents are helping their kids be successful not matter. Like one time I told my mom that is kid did this go to get head in grades and other thing but I wasn’t mad because their parents were just trying to help them. Some advice my mom told me is I am not worried about other kids and I don’t care what their parents are doing to help their kids. My goal is to help you and your brother no matter what. I don’t care if they don’t like it but I am doing anything to help y’all if you need it. So I don’t it is unfair because Melissa is doing anything to help kids. I hope this makes sense but like I said English is not my first language so sorry for the bad grammar.

Just because she was outspoken and can be loud dosent mean she was in the wrong. Melissa is sneaky taking other kids spots for privates away and giving them to her kids, pretending to help pay other kids tution and then not doing the transactions and rating out kids to abby to lift her kids up- which she did to chloe as well as taking away her privates- Melissa is a snake and Christi deserves to be upset

@@funya-xw1iw she probably did try to pay for it, but Melissa probably made sure Maddie got all of it. Christi said when Chloe had a private it was canceled, so she couldn’t get it. And even if Abby scheduled them instead of Melissa. She probably wouldn’t have given it to Chloe anyway since she didn’t like Chloe and she always gave things to Maddie. Maddie was her favorite.

unregistered hypercam Funny you say that, consisting even out of Dance Moms, Maddie would win more than Chloe. And Maddie placed 3rd runner up and TDA and was one of the only girls on the show to receive a perfect score. Both in and out of the show (All Gods Creatures in show, and Leaving Berlin out of the show.) I have no doubt that Chloe was a brilliant dancer as well, and could’ve been so much better if she’d been given more opportunities and more support, but to call the only OG who placed at TDA and won 2 perfect scores, one at JUMP, overrated is quite ignorant. In Season 4, when Chloe got even better choreography that Maddie most of the time, she’s occasionally still lose. Both of he girls are equally as talented and they both worked hard to get heir opportunities - there were days where Chloe danced better and there were days where Maddie danced better. That doesn’t make either “overrated.”

Christi explained on her youtube channel that she played it up because the producers made her plus it’s reality tv. Most of the moms played up the drama so the kids wouldn’t have to be involved in the drama and they could just focus on dance.

Even though this is old, I really feel for Melissa. The other moms always came down on Melissa for getting her kids every opportunity they can get to be the best dancers they can be. Abby was the one who wanted to divide the kids and put the others down. Christi has said some horrible things like how Melissa slept with her boss, etc. Melissa was so supportive of her daughter’s career and so what if she helped around the dance studio? Whether it was for financial reasons or not she was invested in their futures and she succeeded. The other moms saw this as an extracurricular activity and Melissa saw it as their futures. Coming down on her for that because they saw dance differently is wrong. They used her as a scapegoat for the Abby’s horrible way of treating their kids

She was traded AMAZINGLY from abby but the other girls weren't treated like that, making their mothers angry causing then to get mad at poor maddie. Because the dance moms fandom is made up of mostly kids. They don't understand how life works, but they do know how to be followers. The see other people attacking Melissa and they just blindly follow because they don't know any better. Besides most people root for winners to lose and losers to win. Maddie was a winner and she seems like she has it all and most people simply can't identify with that. Many of us have average lives and we don't get a lot of support, so it's easier to relate to the others girls more. Maddie is different. Instead of hating, the other moms should have followed their lead.

I never understood why the other moms tell other moms how to raise their child. Maddie and Kenzie are so humble and polite, Melissa is doing a great job. I understand why there is so much tension. BUT Maddie and Kenzie are still Melissa's kids. No one else's! Sorry but attacking the mom and throwing her out of places isn’t going to make Abby see the potential in the other kids. Christi was a literal bully in this scene. Melissa can’t snap her fingers and have Abby make all of the girls perfect. She’s not a God, magician or even a dance teacher. Their fights should stay with Abby, not the mother. Everyone does what’s best for their kids.

Jill is Rt tho. Melissa works at the front desk so she can get free privates. You gotta think, dance itself costs some money so if I wanted privates for my kid to get better, why not get them for free. and it’s not melissa’s fault abby favors her kids so why are they mad at her. Also Maddie does work harder than the girls whether u want to admit it or not . She wanted more than them and I think that’s apart of the favoritism that Abby shows towards her. Plus dance is competitive so idk why the moms want everything to be fair. I don’t agree with some of abby’s teaching methods but at the end of the day, they are all completing againist each other for the top spot of the pyramid, national title, first place, etc.

They didn't pick on Melissa for privates. They picked on her because she didn't know how to fight back. True marks of a bully and let's face it what Jill said was true. If Nia was winning every week they'd be on her too but she was one of the weaker dancers on the team so none cared. Fact is chole was a favorite got special parts but no one would say that to Christi because they were afraid of her.
