My Five year old daughter put me back together. She loves this song and everyday she must sing this song. In the morning driving to school and in the evening driving home. Thank you Jill Scott for creating and singing this song for us. My daughter honestly did put me back together after loosing my father and my grand mother having my daughter was clearly the best thing that could have ever happen to me. I Thank God for her daily she is my joy, my sunshine my heart.

This video meant for me that we should all breath life into each other with new, fresh energy, with a smile, touch or just the right words to turn everything around. Simply beautiful for lack of better words.

The first time that I heard this song, I had it on auto repeat for an hour, crying my eyes out. It conveyed my broken life, my journey to repair my heart and how my fiancée (at that time) took the time to help put me back together again. I surprised him with this song as our first dance, sang it to him and to God. I was thankfully able to see how full circle I had come. I was already complete before meeting my husband, but I'm now made better for being in love with not only my husband but myself. Jill, I really wish that this song had made more of an impact on the general masses, but please know that even if it was just a few people, you touch lives through your beautiful and graceful artistry daily. You're a genuine soul that sings from experience and doesn't sugar coat any facet of your life to appease others. Keep staying real and staying the true Jilly from Philly! How amazing is God our divine perfect maker. I have never heard this song before, nor video. I stumbled upon it just by chance. I watched from beginning to the end. And just a mere 6 years ago when this came out, does this video now bring such a beautiful light of the meanings of being human. It brought me to tears as I view the world today, and yet everything about what it means to be human is right there in the video. I hope that one day our world will stop limiting God's amazing glory to any one thought, book or religion and know that we are all him and an imprint of him in this moment as a spec in the universe. Respect and love thyself and upon that we can love one another. We have the power to change our world and yet have let the rulers change our destiny. Light up the world from within and catch our souls on fire to create a balance of these lives to turn away from our current path of destruction.
