It needs to said… Greens hold many local and state offices. Minnesota had a Green governor. Many Greens are on the ballot for congressional positions. NJ has 13 Greens running. Ask yourself why would Dems fight so hard if we were not competitive?
This is kind of a silly question. Is this really the election to play this game? You know everybody knows the green party has zero chance of winning so logic dictates that if you typically vote Democrat, but then you give your vote to the green party this election who are you helping? You are helping the Republicans. And if you’re helping the Republicans, you are absolutely OK with project 2025 you’re OK with Trump wanting to give the police FULL immunity you are wanting The Department of Justice to BE UNDER THE CONTROL Trump, which means there will be no more. Derek Chauvin‘s going to jail there will be no justice for Ahmad Arbery’s in this country. And this is just the start. You also have to understand sadly there are a few black men on RU-vid who I don’t know if they’re being paid by the Trump campaign by Russian operatives or if they completely failed to read project 2025, but they are leading you down a path that’s only going to hurt black folks but Black men the most.
Jill Stein and Butch Ware only needed one major mainstream show to make this much of a wave! The entire interview is very telling. Everyone should see it before it gets taken down. All because they're on the side of the people, and the Dems pretend to be but aren't. I hope Jill and Butch get more mainstream coverage 🙏🏽
What’s becoming so obvious to people now is that colonialism has never ended just rebranded with different terms. From Natives indigenous people being called “savages” in the old days to now being called “terrorist” by neocolonialists who are neoliberals, neoconservatives, and zionist. 1) Savages is now “terrorist” 2) Civilizing them is now “bringing them democracy” 3) Colonies is now “territories” We can all see Israel is a colonial project being supported by former and current colonials such as U.S, UK, and others who also control territories of indigenous natives in Caribbean Islands, Pacific Islands, Hawaii, and many more. The liberation of Palestine will definitely give RISE to many indigenous natives around the world to free themselves from western domination. This is the underlying ripple effect that the U.S government and its puppet allies don’t want to happen
I understand critics of the Green Party, but if black people earnestly want to effect some political change, then this unwavering loyalty to the Democratic Party is a terrible strategy. No political party respects the voice of people who will vote for them no matter what, with no concessions or consequences for unfulfilled promises.
That’s why we’re supposed to leverage our votes. Don’t vote and expect change. Demand change and until they do something withhold ur vote or waste it on a third party
Yes democrats have proven that they arent fully invested on helping minorities, but at least they are SOMEWHAT, Republicans literally donnitmlike blacl people. The Confederate angle is true, youre way worse off going with the reds then the blies
Exactly! It’s black people’s fault for disincentivizing the Democratic Party to accommodate the black agenda. We do that by automatically giving them our vote every time. And for generations we have nothing to show for all of that loyalty.
Black people need to use their voting power in the primary elections of the Democratic party, instead of just voting in the general elections. Jill Stein is no victim and just using her presidential runs for profit and notoriety.
The two party system desperately needs a challenger. Butch and Jill ate them up and Rye did the democrats ZERO favors. The comments speak volumes. I personally have been a third party “voter” since a kid lol. I’ve had some amazing teachers that put me on game young. I have always been into politics and learned early of the dangers of the 2 party system. I think fascism and socialism for the rich is already here and it’s been here. Great video.
Angela claims to be an "insider" but knows shit all about how the Dem party operates. So ignorant. And she WAS using yt supremacy talking points and it hit a nerve, hence her tantrum. But thanks for the free publicity.

This is why to me it’s so meaningless to have people that look like us (with the intention to enrich themselves) pretending to speak for us. Women, black, Hispanic, native, whatever. It doesn’t matter.
I sat my whole inlaw family down at our Saturday breakfast gathering and made them watch it. Three Republicans and two Democrats, and all of them said they thought Drs Stein and Ware were incredibly good candidates.
I commented that you should cover more third party candidates and here you are a week later talking about Jill Stein. Real journalism fr! Appreciate the work you doing brotha🙏🏾
Whether a Democrat or Republican “wins,” the people ALWAYS lose. Alternatively, whether or not 3rd party candidates “win,” the people ALWAYS win. Why? Because when we voted for 3rd party candidates, we didn’t vote for more genocide, more wars, more cop cities, more income inequality, more crumbling infrastructure, etc., We voted for ending wars/genocide, universal health care, guaranteed housing for all, $25 FMW, universal higher education & trade schools, paid FML, ban cop cities, demilitarize police, CJ reform, reparations for slavery, cancel all medical/student debt, & much more.
The fact that Jill Stein is so supportive of Palestine earned my vote. I’m a one issue voter this election season, I’m sick of this genocide and nothing else matters to me.
Angela Rye made the interview nearly unwatchable. Lol. It was too much. Dr. Stein and Dr. Ware did a great job in hostile territory. And when TBC became hostile territory for any presidential candidate is news to me...
You know what, I'd love to have a conversation with Jill Stein on this channel. Everyone go tag Jill Stein's team saying she should do an interview with @TheCompanyMan. And send a link to this interview. Yall the illest. It's All Happening.
Damn to drive some of your points all the way home can we get a @traploreross style mini doc on the Dems starting as a proslavery party and their past KKK affiliations?
Thank you for this video @thecompanyman, I'm from London UK and on behalf of everyone outside of the USA please do what you can to promote the Green party! The world can't take much more of the warmongering, psychopathic, fascist plutocracy that is destroying everything decent and causing misery, death and destruction.
@Jundarippa memorizing easy factoids thay can be googled in an second is not the same as being a seasoned intellectual who is well read, has a firm grasp of history and has deep analysis of multiple tangential issues
@presterjohn1697 Mic drop moment? That's how idiots think. She wants to sit in the executive seat. She should have an intricate knowledge about the system she wants to head.
I voted for Dr. Jill Stein in 2012 and 2016. I registered Green in 2012. I welcome all of you new Dr. Jill Stein voters!! Let's shatter the system that is killing us all!! Peace be with you all!! ✌🏻💚🕊
Super solid reaction vid here. You have already managed to LEVEL UP in a very short time. Find myself auto clicking now! Thanks for the content Justin.
@@trollof229antthevariable9 Technically, in presidential elections the only votes that matter are the ones cast in 7 swing states. But 3rd parties can be most effective in pressuring one of the major parties to accepting some of the 3rd parties policies to win voters in close races. Like when Democrars copied The Green New Deal from the Green Party.
Lmao I can't believe this is an actual conversation people are having.... Do ya'll REALLY wanna end up with another 4 years of trump? Like seriously? The justices he appointed repealed roe, affirmative action, destroyed the administrative state and its effectiveness to fight climate change and numerous other things. Holy shit... We really are totally fucked aren't we? You are all just so easily duped with pretty words, of course they can promise everything lmao they won't win.
The DNC and RNC colluded to change the rules to get a seat at the debate after that election. When Ross Perot ran you had to poll at 5% nationally to appear on the national debate stage. When Nader ran it was 10%. Now you have to poll at 15% nationally to debate the institutional puppets.
That was when I turned 18 and could vote for the first time and I proudly voted for Ralph Nader! And I will proudly be voting for Jill Stein come November!!
This interview just made me more interested in checking out the Green Party. The Democrats/Republicans have been dropping the ball left and right. No pun intended
I had no plans to vote until watching this “interview”. Today, I changed my voter registration from blue to green. Appreciate your time and energy TCM💯
I’m hyped to be a first time Green supporter and voter, now that i understand their past and plans better. It’s ready for a Black takeover and Jill Stein has been trying to help that happen! They definitely are earning my vote!
Long time follower of yours for your amazing insight on hip hop throughout the years. As a Palestinian, I just wanted to commend you for shedding a perspective on AIPAC and BDS during this analysis. I am not surprised however bc you have always been insightful and it makes sense it would extend well beyond hip hop. One thought I have, setting aside Palestine, just generally…there’s a difference between earning the vote, monopolizing the vote, and feeling entitled to the vote. And I hope people start taking heed to exactly what Democrats like AOC and Angela Rye have been communicating the past few weeks which is they feel they can guilt trip you into being coerced to vote democrat. And I am hoping this election, that people don’t stay home but instead vote for a third party so that the census can capture the discontent of the average American.
As a Palestinian, do you really believe that Trump and the red team want what's best for your people? I ask because I have not heard any red team operative or surrogate ever say anything in support of the Palestinian people. I have heard them double and triple down on their support for Netanyahu's war efforts. Wouldn't any vote that ultimately helps the red team gain power be antithetical to your cause? Your people?
Yeah it's not like donald trump won won by a tiny margin in 2016 and gave us repealed roe, repealed affirmative action, and countless other rulings that will fucking destroy our country over the next few decades. Nothing to get hostile about here.
@@TheCompanyManyes!!!! PLEASE have them on! They are incredible and can answer a lot of the smears against them and share not only what they stand for but HOW they (WE!) can get it done! ✊🏾😊💚🖤🗽
The address to reach out to is press@ followed by the domain of her website. (I don't want RU-vid to censor the address). We'll keep an eye out for your email!
Phew thank god you don't have ovaries or that might have felt like a real stupid decision once scotus overturned Roe. Oh but wait, they also overturned affirmative action too.. and countless other policies that we will have to live with for decades to come. But at least you can live with your vote and feel morally superior to all us plebs who fall for the democrat lies!
Honestly it sucks living in the south with the overwhelming Trump support. I’m open minded, but the racism, the homophobia, all seems to skew to the right. Can’t stand with that, gotta excommunicate family over some of this ish.
Thank you so much for covering this! Stein's stance on Palestine earned my vote a few months ago and as I learned more about her overall platform I became a huge fan of her campaign. More Americans especially BLACK Americans need to hear Jill Stein and the Green Party's platform and give some serious thought into who they'll be voting for in November. Our current duopoly is sending us into a death spiral of fascism and is ignoring the needs of the vast majority of Americans while using our tax dollars to export death and destruction across the globe. Real substantial changes need to be made before its too late for us all!
@@trumpetking11 we are the enemies of Hamas, and any other Islamic extremist group. They want the West to fall, and non Muslims to be exterminated. They’ve wanted this for centuries . We are the infidels. Again. This isn’t all Muslims, it’s the extremists. And extremists comprise the governments of Afghanistan, Iran, and Yemen. Hamas knows the US supports Israel, they may have attacked (during a ceasefire, mind you) specifically because of that. Israel has responded with brutal force, and I’m not defending it, but I sure as hell am not defending Hamas.
Well your support will only help with popularity. Where's the virtue in waiting for something to become popular before we fight for it? Like saying "I'd support mlk if he wasn't hated so much"
@@adrienne3272 yeah but not being popular is not a negative attribute. It's a signal that it's time to get involved.... assuming you actually want to build a resistance movement
@@leonscott543 well the only way to ever win a vote is to have more people that know about you and get to hear your message. I didn't think that was controversial. I would like to get away from the establishment candidates having the the loudest voice
As another Black southerner, I know exactly where Justin is coming from when he says “I don’t rock with the Confederates.” 😆 You have to really have grown-up/live-around around these Dixie Outfitter-wearing yts to understand.
One thing yall gotta understand is that being a spoiler candidate is a position of power. They try to say it as a negative but theyre admitting that you can be KING MAKER of the presidential election. Ummm hello!!!! If thats true, i run rhe country right now 😂 so give us what we want or youll never see power again!!!😂
By voting on ballot initiatives & for ALL 3rd party/Ind candidates from the top to bottom of the ballot, the ONLY thing we risk losing is the parasites in office. We literally have NOTHING to lose! time we got out the “bug bomb” for the November election. Imagine if we elected some Green Party candidates to congress, governor, etc.,? Vote your interests by voting Green & take back your power!
I’m protecting my face, fam! 😂 After the way the DNC railroaded Bernie Sanders, any remaining notion of them being a counter to the GOP fell in the nearest bayou. I first took notice of the Green Party during Obama’s first presidential run, and their messaging is clearer than ever. Not one to join parties (always voted according to the information I knew), I’m a smidge closer to Green. PS: Angela has been a DC voice. Her delivery is just getting worse.
Good video and so glad the BC didn't have enough sense going into this to realize how much it could backfire for their patrions and went ahead with it. They obviously intended to neutralize their threat to the duopoly and instead gave them a significant platform for folks to get introduced to them, Stein/Ware '24 or no vote.
Angela Rye doesn't understand poltics, however she thinks she does. She has no poltiical work on Capitol Hill(nor do we know who she worked for while she claims she was there) that she has done and no political work at all to have such an egotisctal and arrogant stance. Her speaking about politics on BET & the Breakfast club doesnt give her that either. She is there becasue she looks a certain way and sounds smart to ignorant people. She has been in the way of real black politics for years. She is definitely a Democratic shill. The Green Party actually has reparations on the ballot. This proves peolle like Angela Rye care more about her pockets that her people.
Green party has absolutely zero chance of winning, Jill Stein has spent literally zero time building coalitions, disappears right away after election. Going to be hilarious when Trump wins and I get to sit here and watch you all cry about all the rights we lose.
I agree that Angela Rye was all in her emotions, and this does not reflect well on the party she represents, especially since she is also a woman. If women compete for the high seats, we must get out of our emotions and maintain a level head. Poor representation.
To hear someone take a LEGIT stance on reparations was soooooooooo refreshing. I listen to the whole interview. Signed up and donated and learn even more about the green party. It is so clear their message is for US. when i say Us i mean the common working man and woman Period!
Right. Yeah, I noticed that too and meant to mention that. Same for the debates last week. Our issues are getting lost in the national discussion again. That's another reason I appreciate the green party positions.
@@TheCompanyMan All Angela had to do was say, “In a perfect world where we have the freedoms to embody all the black liberators you’ve named, I could agree with you. But we can’t, so in this world we have to focus on beating Trump” LOL LOL LOL I would have respected that stance a lot more
Rye was overly aggressive but he question was poignant. Stein has never won and consistently run against black leaders. Why no one cares about that is confusing.
I didn’t know Mitt Romney was black. I didn’t know Hillary & Trump were black. Btw, people can run for office regardless of their opponent’s race, gender, religion, etc., That’s called democracy.
Bro please keep doing what you’re doing informing us hip hop heads of current events including politics. It’s important for us not to live in a shell of what’s going on in hip hop and not know what’s going on in the world. I appreciate the information.
Thank you for covering this. Its what I've been missing in your coverage of politics. Don't need you to agree with them, but just to cover them and get your views. Free Falasteen.
Thanks so much for covering the interaction during this interview. I watched it yesterday and was stunned at how antagonistic Angela was but came away much more clear on positions of the Green Party and very inspired by Drs Stein and Ware. Saw your pinned comment re hosting a conversation with Jill Stein and am looking forward to that. I hope that will include Dr Ware because I feel they are great together. Happy this video popped up in my feed for first time today.
2:13 that's not fascism that's an oligarchy. Fascism is normally authoritarian and/or nationalistic political ideology where the structure created by the in group crushes the out group through various means. Think slavery, Jim Crow south, Hitler and the Holocaust, Israel, or Huey Long to give a couple examples.
I agree that we need an alternative to the current two parties but we need to build that from the local up. Right now the green party does not have the power to beat Trump and so we risk racing backwards. Letting Trump win is the worst thing we can do for Palestine and for women, for working families, and for having any chance of climate solutions. Why don't we run 3rd party candidates locally and build a movement that can actually win instead of giving our power away in this presidential election? Let's have a strategy to win!
It reaaaaally bugged me when Angela tried to imply that Jill has a problem with WOC after Jill criticized AOC for attacking her online. Weaponizing intersectionality and using identity as a shield really angered me. It especially pissed me off because many of us who ID as Latin and leftist have so many criticisms for AOC 😂 also, Stein had a right to call out AOC cause she was wrong in her video, claiming Stein and the Green Party only show up for the Presidential election. And it’s kind of funny because there’s a literal picture of AOC campaigning for a Green Party candidate in 2017. It really seems like these Dems want to dunk her and expect her to just take it?? They want to criticize her for not building momentum while also existing in a party that is actively works to dismantle any viable third party. Makes me feel like I’m losing my mind a bit.
This duopoly is now a certified uniparty. This interview debunked so many claims but I suggest following Dr. Stein and Prof Ware. It's important that we learn about how US imperialism affects domestic and intl affairs. I'll be voting SteinWare2024 this year 💚
Who decided that the Breakfast Club has something to add to socio-political discourse?! They are inept! It is an affront to our intelligence! Aren’t they entertainers?
