God... anytime a clip comes to Jimmy talking about “when I was drinking” I subconsciously just tune out... dude, you drank for 6 months and went to rehab! You didn’t have a problem, you were just an irresponsible drunk. And this clip explains it all perfectly - you were an attention seeker - stop acting like you overcame some huge hurdle in life; you were 16 and drank, like 90% of us did. There are people with real addiction problems that don’t need to hear your holier than thou “I beat it” nonsense. Ugh... I’m sorry, I just tune out when I hear Jimmy talking about his “drinking days”.
Thing is man I'm 50 years old 20 to 50 goes by so fast 50 to 80 probably goes by faster .these guys are probably pushing sixty now they're going to be up there they act like it's never going to happen to tham it's just the way I see it they act like it's going to be forever till they get that old but it's really not. The time goes by really fast and getting old sucks.
34:00ish. I feel like Breuer is kinda unaware of how much of a hypocrite he is. He knows that his kids are going through puberty, but he decided that they aren't old enough to have fun responsibly yet out of that disghusting paternal instinct to protect through absolute control.
