I've never seen The Passion. I was an atheist when it came out, and now that I'm not I'm afraid of how upsetting it will be. But my goodness, this man got STRUCK BY LIGHTNING for this movie. And I'm afraid to sit in the comfort of my own home and watch it?! No more excuses. Jim Caviezel is a great actor, Mel Gibson is a great director and this is literally the greatest story ever told. Time to watch The Passion.
The first time I watched the movie, it was just the same as I'd imagined Our Lord's Passion would've been since I was a very young child (first grade! Catholic catechism & Lenten devotions always described how much Jesus suffered for our sins.) I've watched it many times since. Want to grow closer to Jesus? Meditate on what He did to save you. Yes, He did it for love of you.
Notice how you guys are sort of afraid to watch this movie but do you guys blink an eye at watching a horror movie? Why so much hesitation? We see all sorts of violence in action movies too. What you see in the passion is suffering done out of love. The Divine Hero laying down His life as both God and man for the sake of mankind. Even if you're an atheist (former one here!) there's benefits to watching the movie for educational purposes. Consider the impact Christianity played on the world for example.
My testimony: After being an atheist for 8+ years, and "married" to another female, I got the urge one day to say out loud "IF there is an Almighty God that does NOT wish us pain or sorrow, please bring me truth, I wish to know you exist". Then God immediately started bringing me the answers I had been searching 8-11 YEARS for! I witnessed Him take control of my internet and the rest of my reality; He first proved to me that demons exist (I called them "inter-dimensional beings"), then He proved His own existence, which I later found to be Jesus Christ. As soon as I found Jesus at the end of 2020, He IMMEDIATELY took away my transgenderism, bisexuality, depression, daily suicide attempts, self harm, bulimia and anorexia; and He did this all without me asking Him to, because THAT'S how merciful and loving He is! Praise God! Repent of your sins and follow Jesus Christ while you still can. Jesus Christ is the name above all names, and the only way to Heaven. The Euphrates River has dried, which is Biblical prophecy, so there truly isn't much time at all🙏
Praise be to God that you repented of your sins and found Jesus. Only through Jesus and by obeying His Commands of partaking of the Sacraments in the Holy Catholic Church can we be saved. God bless you.
@@VanAnon51 No. Yes, only through Jesus can we be saved. But it is incorrect and heretical to say you have to partake in the Catholic church sacraments to be saved. That's adding to what Jesus said you have to do to be saved. You're relying on additional things to Jesus in order to be saved; and that's not true faith in Jesus - therefore you aren't saved. Repent and believe the gospel.
The fact that Tim can still make himself AND others laugh and smile after everything he's seen and been through all these years is such a testement to his character
Tim mentioned the Bible verse that gave him peace in dangerous times Personally, I think Jesus wasn't just warning the people around him or speaking in general to future believers. I think he was addressing very specifically the present day traffickers and abusers. warning them. He was also giving encouragement and peace to those who rescue the children.

When Jim said that when he and Mel do the resurrection it will be the biggest movie in history it brought me to tears. The cross is important, no question, but the cross means nothing without the Resurrection. The Resurrection is the bow that ties it all together. It could spark a worldwide revival.
I thought the same thing when he was talking about the resurrection my heart wanted to jump out my chest and he ain't lying it's going to be the best movie in the most important movie of all in the history of the world
What difference does it make when Christianity has completely sold out to liberalism and has no strength at all. Literally… What has Christianity done for America lately? It completely sold out to the LGBTQ movement.
I can't separate the birth, the death and the resurrection of Christ. Without the incarnation, there would be no death or resurrection. It's all tied together for those who believe that Jesus came to earth to die for our sins. I plan on seeing "The Sound of Freedom" today. Hopefully my grandson will join me. Thank you for having Jim Caviezel and Tim Ballard on the show today. Stay the course, God bless you guys!
I met Jim Caviezel at the Best Buy I was working 20yrs ago. It was right about when the Passion came out. He was just casually shopping and some coworkers mentioned that he was in the store. I had to go say hello. I remember him saying something like “walk with me” and he walked over to his wife and he introduced me to her. I just told him my girlfriend and I are fans of his movies. I was a fair bit star struck at that young age. Super nice guy.
I remember meeting John Travolta when he was on "Welcome back Kotter" as Vinnie Babarini. His career was just beginning. It was in the linen department at Gimbels..not sure why it was held there.. Either way...I was a young teenage and I was totally star struck and so in love! He was gorgeous...though I don't think that he aged well...maybe it was the scientology! He should have become Catholic!
I love Jim. You can see he is really connected to Christ by the quotes he says, like a person in love that casually is always remembering something about his loved one
States are at least taking steps, such as requiring sites like PHub to provide actual age verification (instead of just clicking "Yes" on the age verification popup). But PHub's response has just been to block those states entirely, encouraging visitors from those states to vote out their current politicians. So PHub clearly doesn't care about pornography being shown to underage people. In fact, they want to get people addicted at a young, impressionable age, and they know that their traffic would be cut down by like 90% if they required each visitor to do proper age verification.
Degrading to women, ruins their bodies, STDs/HIV exposed to,puts a wedge in relationships, women feel they're not good enough and insulted, the man would rather watch porn over being intimate with her, feeling worthless, sex is treated as a commodity, not a special bonding, between two people,in love or for procreation, lowers morals and standards in relationships, and erodes trust between, man and wife!Yeah, ban ALL pornography! I'm on board,as a woman, with dignity, for myself!🎯💯🫡
As a true Believer in God and His Son, Jesus Christ, a courage that defies all human reasoning has been imparted to me, by God! When a person surrenders to the Lord and asks the Lord to come in and dwell within his or her soul, the Holy Spirit indwells the person’s soul. The receiver of Jesus Christ becomes a new creature and the gates of hell cannot win in a battle against a born again Christian. The Lord is in the battle with the Believer, against satan and his demonic followers. The Believer in Christ is sealed for all eternity and heaven is created for all Believers.
Mr. Caviezel is an American treasure. Every single one of his films have meant something substantial. Thin Red Line means a lot to me as a veteran, as a Christian the Passion is everything and this film which I have not seen yet I have cried just seeing the preview. Please don’t stop your craft: we are watching and listening and you’re important
Have you ever watched him in When the Game Stands Tall??? If not, highly recommend. I saw it for first time yesterday and it was deeply inspiring and moving ❤
Same thank you All in America All should be standing up against to protect little children ALL Americans and if not… their silence speaks volumes doesn’t it ?
My family and I went to see 'Sound of Freedom' on the 4th of July. This movie is phenomenal! We had a range of emotions during and after the movie. Thank you, Tim, for all you are doing to rescue and help children! Thanks, Jim, for doing the movie and your heart for Christ! Thank you, Michael, for doing this interview and shedding light on this evil.
@coffeecarnosaur3095 Nothing different to the 1990s movie "The Witches" masquerading as the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children but actually preying on children.
Jim is so awkward lol he had such a hard time with the game 😂 but I just adore how sincere he is. The dynamic between all three of these big personalities was so fun to watch
Just bought my tickets and told my friends about their goal to have 2 million people see the movie in the opening weekend to represent the 2 million missing children. I’ll pray this movie is a mass success to spread awareness and to stop this evil in our world 🙏
THEY'RE TAKING THE PISS OUT OF THE DEVIL 😅😅....MEL IDENTIFIED WALKEN THE DUDE THAT FLOATED IN ON THE ROOF TOP ON HIS INTEVIEW BACK IN 98...CONNECT THE DOTS YALL!!!
@trevorhansen1940 no they don't LOL...the language used here says they don't....and the amount of likes meant everybody that liked the comment failed to understand the joke...I'm taking the opportunity to reveal it for them..
Tim is a man of faith, humility, values, courage, integrity and an instrument used by God to save His children. Jim is a man of faith and an instrument in God's hands to point His children to Christ. Thank you for the interview.
Tim’s childlike personality is a gift God gave him to deal with all the horror he is expose to. He would be destroyed without this gift. We praise you God🙏
Mosiah 3:19 For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father.
WHY IS THE POPE HAVING STALWART BISHOP STRICKLAND FROM TYLER TX INVESTIGATED?...STRANGE THAT IT IS RIGHT AFTER HE CAME TO L.A. TO LEAD THE PRAYER PROTEST AT THE DODGERS GAME AGAINST THE BLASPHEMOUS DRAG MEN.
I wouldn't touch this movie at all. Tim Ballard [an extremely dishonest Mormon] is NOT who they make him out to be. Please go down THAT particular rabbit hole. Ballard is under investigation and the child rescue business is a perfect cover. But please, don't take my word for it. Search for yourself
I never enjoyed such a authentic, candid, jovial funny conversation in RU-vid like this. Bravo! And thanks to Tim and Jim for making this profound movie!
Suspicions for a long time. Certain people always weirded me out, especially when they did whatever to seek out children. A lot seem to have a particular look to them. A certain twinkle in their eyes whenever they spoke about or were around children. And this explosion in tra ns in schools and other public institutions. Try to know who is around you, the Pee ee dee ohs find ways.
Tim Ballard and I share the same faith, he’s an amazing man of God. Us religious folk need to stand together despite our doctrine differences because it’s getting to point where the world hates anyone who believes in God. ❤
Dang..... Don't announce his faith 😱. Do you know how much money people have pulled out of donating to the cause of children because of his faith😭. Yes, people put religion and politics over the safety of children. I'm the same faith that's the reason I know this stuff.
@@StompMom5 if people are actually not donating to a charity that helps save children from horrific abuse because Tim Ballard is a Mormon then they need to check their priorities. Like I mentioned above we need to all stick together because the enemy hates all religions and much of the world is going down that same path.
It's so great to see Mr. Ballard an Mr. Caviezel laughing and having fun. The weight of their movie and all the serious interviews must be tough. Glad to see the joy here. Thanks Michael Knowles! 😊
This is only the second time hearing Jim Caviezal speak not as an actor but in an interview type setting. I am very impressed by his very thoughtful way of expressing himself. He certainly comes across as one who carefully considers his words.
Sad that Jim got wrapped up in playing that creep Ballard… he’s a real dirtbag. He’s may regret doing this biopic ⛔️⚠️ The recent accusations against Ballard are pretty credible and the things he’s said and done are so nuts…
The dedication of Tim Ballard has, caused me to recognize that no matter how we believed as we grew up, we are in the same spiritual war, and we must join our strength and faith in order to win!
I'm reminded lately the power in agreeing on essentials, not seeking division. God knows the heart and we don't know it like He does. It doesn't mean we have to attend a church we think has wrong doctrine, but you and I wouldn't check a fire fighter's faith or denomination or a responding police officer in an emergency, or a surgeon, before accepting that they're doing good work. Right? Besides, God makes the same promise to everyone: "Seek me and when you seek me with your whole heart you will find me." I would say if these gentlemen haven't find the Lord and accepted the gospel, they're clearly well on their way and God is absolutely using them today.
@@henrybierman8431That is bald faced lie! It is not true. We do not believe that! We believe Jesus Christ is the only way we can be cleansed from sin.
@@henrybierman8431I've seen a lot of insulting things said about members of the LDS faith (and I willfully ignore them and move on), but I think that's one of the worst and most false I've seen yet. There is absolutely zero truth to that statement, especially when the aforementioned church firmly and explicitly teaches there is no other way or means that a man may be saved except through the Savior Jesus Christ. Whatever you heard, however you formed that idea, however you came to that conclusion, it's simply not true. Pick on something else in the faith if you must - I'm sure you can find plenty. . . but that one is an utterly and blatantly false statement.
I saw the movie yesterday with my mother. We walked out both in tears and said “ I can’t say I liked it, it was sort of like going to Dachau. Had to see it, needs to be seen. Was very well done.”
That was THE BEST interview with Jim Caviezel EVER thanks to Michael Knowles!!! Jim is always so very serious in his interviews. Even with the serious subject matter, Michael is so charismatic that he pulled out the charm and funny side of Jim! Well done, Michael! And I gave been watching interviews with Tim Ballard for YEARS! What a gem! What a hero! Respect Jim and Tim beyond words! What a great interview! I could watch these three together all day! God bless and protect them, in the name of Jesus!
Tim, words can’t express the gratitude that we all share for your immense sacrifice going into the darkest of night hell holes, and physically bringing these children back to safety. Jim, and Micheal, thank you for being the voices to extend this message. God Bless you all.❤
Excellent interview. As a member of the LDS church, I've been a big fan of Tim's work for awhile and our company donates to Operation Underground Railroad. As a Skagitonian, Jim has always been a bit of a home town hero. I used to go to his dad's chiropractic office. I'm sure I'm not the only one who had some fun saying "Jesus' dad is my chiropractor". Person of Interest is by far my favorite series of Jim's fictional work. Thank you both for what you're doing!
Well the LDS church doesn't believe Jesus is God almighty so it's unfortunate and you need to repent snd follow the true christ. Your works do not matter.
Thank you for your authority to call latter-day sent people to repentance. When did you become the Lord Jesus Christ oh, and go ahead and pick up the first stone typical ill-informed, anti-Latter Day Saints rhetoric
@timwalker6802 was John the Baptist, Jonah, isaiah, ezekiel, and Elijah lord? Many people in the bible have told large groups of false religious zealots to repent. When you live in sin, you need to repent and call people to repentance. I don't need to be God to tell anyone to repent. There is no misinformed LDS rhetoric they'll tell you that Jesus isn't God and he is a god but not God almighty and don't believe he is the creator that he was created which is unbiblical and completely blasphemous
I like when Jim was talking about getting older with his scars, torn muscles, plate in his ankle, etc. He talked about how what does it matter to have a perfect body if what is inside is terrible. He said he earned his scars and that the difficult things you go through bring humility. I love that! It is so true!
Wow! This helps to realize what Jim Caviezel meant when he said he was hit by lightning! I know it can kill you, but I am so glad that he is still here! And, thank you for pointing out that we need both Truth and Grace! That is so well said!
Jim is talking about the Lion nature of God with Law and Justice; and the Lamb nature of God with grace and mercy. BOTH have to be honored in our lives. The Lion nature of God is roaring over the lawlessness, exposing the corruption, and yes GOD'S children are NOT FOR SALE!!
Love these 3 men! As a Christian and a mother, I really appreciate the work they've done and continue to do, I'll be supporting when I can ❤ God bless you all.
I could of watched another hour or two of this. Thank you Tim, Jim and everyone else that fought to bring this phenomenal emotional heroic action movie to theatre.
I will forever be grateful to Mel and Jim for making that movie and everything they went through to get it made for people to see. I was struggling with my acceptance of Christ's forgiveness around that time that the movie came out. I decided to go see it and within the first 15 minutes I was on my knees in the theater crying and repeating over and over I'm so sorry. Just thinking about it now puts tears in my eyes. I think the whole theater was crying and at least half of them were also on their knees. The whole movie is a total eye opener as to how God exactly knows the suffering people go through. He experienced it through Jesus. All of it. Everything a person could go through he experienced through Jesus. From that day on I've always felt, really felt, as if God were no more than a thought away. I've felt truly protected and guided ever since then. Like I have a direct line to God. I may sometimes let the world in, to my detriment, and have my occasional doubts, but all it takes is going somewhere quiet, removing thoughts of what I want, and focusing on what God wants, and calling on Him to feel that presence. Like a warm, soft blanket.
The only person crying at the screening I was a two-year old whose parents thought it was appropriate to bring to a movie that revolved around brutal torture
@@SalemSphynx Make sure you have tissues. It may be slightly different watching at home, but if you can make it feel as if you're there, that was the feeling I had, although it also felt like the theater was filled with the Holy Spirit from the moment I waked in. I was struggling at the time with chronic pain at high levels daily and felt as though God couldn't possibly understand or He would surely heal me if He had any idea how bad it was. I had already accepted Christ's forgiveness, but felt like it was superficial and couldn't quite get past that. I learned watching POTC that misunderstanding was what was holding me back from fully accepting it. However it also had other repercussions and blessings once I realized the truth and gave my full self to it. 😏 No regrets at all though.
Actually, the differences amongst Christians are almost negligible, the Bible is the same, the basis of the Christianity. People just tend to exaggerate things, we are all in the same page with minor differences
@@mariej6962 absolutely, 100% not. Different concept of who God is, of who Jesus is, of who the Holy Spirit is. Lds believe Christ is a created being for starters. Lds dont believe God is eternal, and so on and so forth. It gets even more demonic when you delve into the meat of mormon theology.
So much respect for Tim Ballard and Jim Caviezel! These are the heroes we should be celebrating, elevating, and modeling our lives after. Great work, Knowles and DW Team, for getting these two men on the show!
to have all that knowledge of the evil forces and how they work here, and still be humble, simple, truthful and courageous, is an inspiring thing. Thanks Jim, long live the ones who fight for our children;
Thank God they are aware of God in the spirits around me had to hear They are promoting drinking think about it these guys need victory and to learn what Jesus Christ said do not cause others to stumble. The problem was so many Americans is that they are straight-up stubborn they're not truly broken before God America is like so comfortable. In their sin.. Jesus Christ said you worship me with your lips but your heart is far from me
Thank you for your insightful comment. I completely agree! I think when you are forced to do battle with evil, there is the potential for arrogance and narcissism in triumph. In addition, I think that sometimes God can reward people in this battle by bestowing the gift of discernment. Again, this can generate a feeling of power, elitism and self-righteousness. I think it’s important not to succumb to this self aggrandising belief and attribute the glory purely to God. I probably haven’t articulated that well but hopefully it makes sense! Thank you again for your wisdom x
I lost my only child to suicide at 29 years old out of the blue he always seemed so happy wife and 2 little kids. This loss has brought me closer to God and trying to learn what lesson he wants me to learn. I’ve been more compassionate and caring to others as just like myself they me smiling on outside but crumbling in inside. God is helping put me back together again.
There is a scene from The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) that is forever etched in my memories when Edmond Dantès is at his end in jail and tries to commit suicide but the words "God will give me justice" etched on his cell wall makes him back out of his suicide attempt.
I usually have to take a deep breath to watch a Jim Caviezel interview, knowing I might wind up in tears. It was lovely to see him being silly. Taking four people to see the movie.
This is the best show you’ve ever put out there. This was the most interesting the most heartfelt warm God purpose video. Thank you so much and God bless Mr. Ballard and Mr. Caviezel. Amen. Thank you MICHAEL. God bless you too.
i am a total athiest, but i so admire jim and tim and everyone involved in this "sound of freedom" production. tim for doing the job in the first place, and jim for bringing it to the screen for public awareness. they have truly done gods work. i have not watched the passion of the christ, i think because of the subtitles, but i will now. well done lads.
You claim to be an atheist but just said that they are doing God's work...seems like you believe more than you think. You have nothing to loose and everything to gain. God bless.
@@bonnieg1642 sorry to disappoint you but i was simply being polite and courteous towards them for their efforts in language that would make them feel good. plus where i live, "god bless" is a pretty standard way of just saying "thank you". there is no religious connotation to it. if there is in fact a god then why does he allow child sex trafficking ?
I’m glad that you are willing to watch the passion. Atheist or Christian, we should all agree that harming children is wrong. Thank you for supporting this important cause.

You truly should watch. It was a surreal experience watching in the theatres. Not a sound was made as people exited (and during, except for sobs). Truly hit me. And I am not a church going type of gal.
And here I was thinking, "what the heck is taking the sequel so long??" Had no idea Caviezel had so many complications due to a lightning strike. Eating humble pie now...
Not just The Passion, but Frequency is an extremely underrated movie and speaks to all of us fathers/sons. The acting is superb and it stars Jim and Dennis Quaid. I highly recommend it.

What an inspiring discussion. Thank you Michael. In this world where good and evil are often blurred, being able to distinguish right and wrong is a mark of character. But on the issue of child trafficking, just like with the issue of organ harvesting in China and other places, the evil is so clear that we have to see it for what it is. If we don't recognize it as evil, then perhaps we have lost our conscience. And what hope is there if we lose that?
I rarely finish an entire Yes or No episode, but this one, I not only watched it entirely, but I also found myself constantly hitting the “10 second rewind” button because the conversation was packed with great lines. Thanks, gents!!
