Jim Chalmers has a ‘great desperation’ to distract from his mishandling of the economy 

Former Queensland premier Campbell Newman slams Treasurer Jim Chalmers’ “great desperation” to “distract” from his mishandling of the Australian economy.
This comes after Mr Chalmers warned that Queensland Opposition Leader David Crisafulli would “gut Queensland like … Campbell Newman did”.
“It’s showing great desperation,” Mr Newman told Sky News host Steve Price.
“He’s got this fight going on with the Reserve Bank governor.
“It’s all to distract from the fact that this guy has badly managed the economy and the finances of the nation.”
