This is a Jim Coleman Water Wizard 1 performing the Platinum Wash ($10.00) at Happy Bays Car Wash in Lake Mary, FL. Overall this is not the best wash but the dry quality seems pretty good.
A little history here: The Mobil 7-Eleven over there you see, used to have a MarkVII GT-98 that I went through when I was much younger... it did a horrible job though but I still miss it. It was replaced sometime in mid-2013 to 2014.
Yep, I’ve been through it a few times as a little kid and remember the clear coat protectant smelling like ham! There was an N/S Lammscloth tunnel a couple of miles down the road at what was “All Star Car Wash” too.
@@carwashclubhouse414 I remember the water smelled like rotten eggs... Basically using reclaim water I guessed... it's sad it was removed because I really wanted to film it but I never was a filmer back then and I was young.
CarWashExplorations the spot free rinse here stunk as well. Speaking of which, I remember there being a Mark VII Merchandiser at a Hess Station near the Daytona Walmart which also had water that smelled like rotten eggs but also had an original Enterlink pay Station. That was replaced in the early 2000s with a Laserwash 4000 that had a WashSelect II rebranded by PDQ.
