Wait until Jim sees the ratings for this past Wednesday's Dynamite. 502k viewers.

I was there for this show. I'm not a diehard AEW fan, but was something fun to go see. Let's just say that I agree with Jim and Brian's viewpoints on AEW. The great Des Moines surprise with MJF had people going crazy, that was the high point of excitement for the night. The crowd seemed like they were having fun most of the night, but there were very few people there. My main takeaway is that AEW puts on a great live show that happens to be on TV. WWE puts on a great TV show that happens to have a live audience. Bonus: Tony came out and gave a speech before Dynamite, again after to keep people for the Rampage taping, again during the Rampage taping, and then AGAIN at the end of the night to thank everyone for coming. One of these speeches was 5 minutes long. After his final speech, he went to ringside to take pictures with fans for about 15 minutes until security told him it was time to go.

Why would turner pay for something that is clearly on the decline?

If Tony thinks Ricochet is gonna save his company, then I've got bad news for him. It wouldn't surprise me if he's already made a desperate attempt to reach out to Becky Lynch. Hopefully she doesn't buy into his nonsense like Edge did

They're definitely right about Tony being too nice. Even before all the allegations came out, I don't think there was anyone who thought Vince Mcmahon was a nice guy who just wanted to make friends. At the same time, Tony wouldn't ever give up the booking because that's literally his favourite part of running the company. It is literally his childhood hobby of fantasy booking made real.

Few days ago I seen a Video that Jericho mentions that in aew they don't have scripts. Basically it's a free-for-all , he writes down couple weeks worth of stuff that he might do. So explains how there's no story lines. And he mentions every week he goes into work in WWE he gets a new script. So at least WWE has plans and storylines. Might not be the greatest or depends on how good the wrestlers are making these stories. Believable but at least their stories I guess LOL
